"male urge?", there is nothing urge. In their social/conventional and sports circle, the majority are men. Pick up another person it is a representative act of ice skating duos on the stage. Therefore, that is normalized and they are used to doing it with several of them off stage. It is better to get informed and not assign an "urge" in a gender where there is absolutely none.

@@pan-alice I think you misunderstood that word. It's a desire on impulse. You see a little cute puppy and you have the urge to pat them. You see the cute little ice prince and you have the urge to pick him up and lift him high to the sky where he belongs. 😁

To those who want to know, Liu Xinyu began to princess carry Yuzuru since NHK 2016 cup. Liu Xinyu and Wang Shiyue found Yuzuru there and wanted to take pictures with him. The workers around Yuzuru saw how tall Xinyu is (around 190 cm or smth) and joked that the group should take a picture of Xinyu carrying Yuzuru. That's what they did and it begins the first Xinyu Yuzuru princess carry. Tbh, seeing these two really made me think that Yuzu should switch to pairs skating with Yuzu skating as the female role🤣

@@jugemujugemugokonosurikire4735 He's 172 - not so short, especially not by Japanese standards, but he's probably around 55-57 kg so kind of easy for those guys to just suddenly pick him up. He's probably around the same weight as their partners. Tbh, when I see him in these costumes even I feel the urge to pick him up. 😂

Respect to skater who lifteted Yuzu for the group photo (in the beginning of the video) bcz he had to face in the opposite direction and couldn't even apprear in the photo but helped Yuzu stand out as the most lit person in the photo. Respect him

He’s quite strong himself but I don’t think he’d be able to do pair skate with a woman, his strength all directs to skating and flexible move’s.

um... i knew it's nice to imagine but all skaters registered themselves as one type. Yuzu ain't on a pair skate. He's practice for the powerful spin and the highest jump.

I saw xinyu the first time at the day 1 of the olympics and he was watching ice dance/ supporting other skaters.i thought that i would never see him again and tried to find his name for more than 40 minutes searching for all of the team China. Than i saw him at the opening, he was so tall that he stand out so much. I screamed and shouted when i saw him and i’ve done all of these just for him to lift yuzu for the nth time and be all over my fyp every single day. Only if i new lol fml 🤦‍♀️ look how far we’ve come with him in less than 14 days

Omg this is soo adorable and soo heart warming. With thar he was injured and all at that point and the others were all likely aware of it they were actively keeping him off his feet while helping him be a part of all the photos and fun and making it enjoyable that just shows how good of friends they all are and how much they care even though they compete with eachother, the competition is to just help them drive for improvement, but they have friendships and care about eachother as friends and not just rivals in the competition...the fact that so many in the groups on the ice did this, it wasn't a one off or just the same person, but a number of them over and over it shows how much they all care and i love it
