Amazing. This was more than I was hoping for tbh. What a huge amount of help your stuff has been for me and I'm sure the DoS community in general, especially with the lack of updates on the wiki. You're basically the precipice of knowledge for this game aside from the discord which is really cool. I've done a lot of testing with Rangers Kara set. It is best to use the crypt stalker set, with the mobe set, then use Kara boots and neck for just the 2 set bonus. If you are using nature as your focus. If physical, it's the skulkers all the way with the seige and wanderers set. Kara isn't worth it since you would need the 3 set bonus to make it viable, and you would lose any skulkers set bonuses because of that. Love the video! Keep the great content coming!

Me too. And each one has it's own themes. I would really like to see an Arena type level that's smaller but full of horde fights.

It would be dope if you redo your other elite fragment videos with the same depth you did at the end of this video.

But how are you supposed to be strong enough to fight those bosses in solo ?.. Like even with the tier 2 set, maxed, I get barely one hitted as a champion...

is this gear that you found? or gear that you crafted? Because crafted gear will always have bonus HP and Bonus Power which are important on everyone. I wouldnt recommend running Ragewind unless you have over 12k hp

I hope Trup adjusts scaling to where we do not die like rag dolls. Instant death practically does not equal difficulty... look at Diabo 4 lol.

I have a fully crafted eternal Berserker set and Kraken set. All my gear is 1 and 2 stars. I have 14k HP. The only reason I haven't tried a Ragewind full clear solo is because it would take forever. Not because I'm dying. Berserk set ensures 100% uptime on Aggression. Bring stacks of rejuvenation potions and use them on cooldown so they're always rolling. Staying alive isn't a problem. If all my gear was five-star and had better stat rolls, I could solo Ragewind much more easily. I think people underestimate the grind and expect to clear content they're not ready for. Even having the correct set pieces isn't enough. I have crafted at least 7 or 8 of the berserk shoulders trying to get better stat rolls because I haven't made one that has magic resist yet. There's a lot more to this game than people give it credit for.

@Lolsesbibi I have the same questions that Chonky did. Is your gear from boss drops or did you craft it all? How much HP do you have? Crafted gear always has better stat priority. On every single piece of armor, you need: Melee Power HP Armor Magic resist Armor Pen

On which difficulty do these fragments drop? Still on normal, I was wondering if there is a chance of those dropping or just in hard/nightmare.

IF you are able too, then go for it. But if you are playing solo then you might need to farm up Tier 1 or 2 in order to make it through on your own.

8:48 Wouldn't it be more efficient to have two flamebound greatswords (weapon slots 1 and 2) for maximum Brutal Strike dmg?

I havent tested if it does more damage, but if you only have 1 weapon equipped you can still use Brutal Strike. It just won't swap to another weapon.

@chonky4841 Right. I haven't tested it on a dummy, but the tool tip states "on a successful weapon swap." It would stand to reason that the extra brutal strike dmg on weapon swap wouldn't active without a second weapon.

Keep up the good work Chonky. I do hope Trup adjusts scaling to where we do not die in one or two hits despite having decent gear rolls. He always says he likes hard games. Dying in 1 to 2 hits is not difficulty, that is over tuning of damage and under performance of resists, armor, hp, etc. on character. I hope this gets adjusted soon. I do love this game. But, I stopped playing because of the squishiness of the characters versus nearly every mob in ragewind and the bog.

What class do you play? If you're talking about Ragewind on NM, I mean, it is the hardest dungeon, and it's not reeeeaaaally meant to be soloed. The best gear drops there. So unless you have full eternal, crafted, 5 star, tier 3 gear with perfect rolls, it's gonna be a struggle to solo.

I noticed that you mentioned Diablo in another comment on this video. This game is very much like Diablo in that, out of 100k gear drops, you're looking for those 14 perfect pieces of armor to complete your build. Gearing in this game isn't fast. Not for the absolute best rolls on the best gear. Until you have every single last piece of BiS rolls on all your gear and everything upgraded to 5 stars, you can always get stronger.

Hello Joseph. I have about 900 something hours in the game. I have played it a long time. I have all classes at decent levels. However, my rogue, champion, and Wizard are the 3 highest with levels ranging into high hundreds for a couple of them. I have yet to play the game since Trup released the scaling adjustments today. But, I will definitely be checking it out. As for my gear on my Wizard, it is pretty decent gear. I am hoping that with the scaling adjustments I read today, Ragewind is a little more doable. As for the solo thing you mentioned: every game should account for solo game versus group play in dungeon crawlers. This especially holds true when you are not able to find groups that well (like on console - PS5 for me). Here's to hoping this update brought back some of the enjoyment I once felt playing the game and took away some bullet sponginess it had in it and everything 1 to 2 shotting you. @dhreed82 I don't know what to tell you. Maybe I just understand it better than you do even after 900 hours or, there's a possibility that you're just not very good at this game. I only play champion, and I just hit Level 300. It didn't take long for me to figure out what they're trying to do here. The difficulty level of NM Ragewind is perfectly fine. Again, I only have tier 2 gear, not perfectly rolled, and all 1/2 stars, and there isn't a boss in the Bog I can't solo. I understand that my gear just isn't where it needs to be to try Ragewind solo. That doesn't mean the game is over tuned or unfair.

Yea I am not sure what the new scaling will lead too in the end, but I had plans to make a video about the new balance changes. Personally, I never thought the game was too difficult. I liked the old heroism scaling. And I never really wanted to see the game become as easy as it is now. For instance, the Lich at MAX level would have like 44 million HP which is incredibly intimidating. Now the Lich has like 4 million. The same HP as if you fight him at level 20.
