Imagine what somebody like Duane Allman wouldve pulled off with Ben on the stage with him. The heights they'd have pushed each other to, like him & Dickey did. It really sucks to think about the heights Duane could've achieved had he been here longer. The people that would've influenced him and drove him to play even better. I know Ben would've been one of em. That's how I found Ben in the first place. I saw the Songbirds Foundation vids of him playing Statesboro Blues note for note 🤘so, Ben is definitely inspired by Duane Allman. That's a given. May be why I like his playing so much 👌

I am so very happy for how prolific this band is. My Pops is always excited whenever I say "You wanna check out the new All them Witches song?" His all time favorite bands are Eric Burton and the Animals, Big brother and the Holding company, Canned Heat, the Beatles and so much more and he asked me to do my best to make it known to z band to nothing more than hes 72 years old and that he enjoys their music more than any newer musicians more than any new music that has come out for decades. Anyways I told him that I would try to get the musicians and let them know that they hit the band up for the sole purpose of telling them "thanks" I'm not the type to say things like this, but he's been having some really frightening health issues as of late, so I'm crossing my fingers that this message is able to be seen by not just one, but ALL them witches if for no other reason than making him smile. So I have hope that by some magical manner that this comment may be read by at least one of you guys. It would make me smile to see him smile. Thanks for all these beautiful musical moments and much love to everyone out there. Life is difficult at times, but I'm still happy that I'm able to spend my time here with me (or me with you " either way I'm so glad to share this experience with you all so very much!)

I'm just bummed that my dad passed 3 years before I found ATW... my dad was a skilled piano/organ player who loved The Doors before MS stole his ability to play, there is no doubt he would have been obsessed. Enjoy what you still have.🤘

@@Dionysoshaman yeah, I can't get enough of ATW & Tool, as well 💙 Just to clarify though, nobody lumped them together in the manner that you're comment conveys (I'm not being contentious; everything's cool). Where I'm stuck is 'subject matter'. Tool & ATW absolutely do not cover the same subject matter. Not that I can think of & I did give it thought. So I'm curious, if you don't mind, what causes you to think they do? I'm really trying to understand that. They both speak to my soul and I can get lost in both (& love every freakin' second of it!!!). But the 'subject matter'... HELP!? You lost me there. Peace to all! 💙

This is the ATW I knew and loved. Great to have the keys back (though it would be nice to have more), and that sexy blues sound just makes me shiver with pleasure!

Thanks to youtube algorithms, first was truckfighters, next stoned jesus and after that atw... I take an year to hear why the hell google gods are trying to push me atw. Now i didnt listen almost nothing else ... Except have heart and fiiddlehead, thanks to ytube algorithm.

Think of ATW like this, they pound blues first chiseled out by the Doors and Hendrix, but they capture, what emotionally happens with the air after the extra reverb guitar slices through it.

Great to hear keys again, damn your vocals rock on this, this is the perfect tone of soul!

Definitely one of if not their best blues jams. Blacksnake blues feels like it belongs in an early 70s Led Zeppelin show; I love it!
