Another interesting special dialog is on Teal Mask and depends on the players gender choice. After Kieran's outburst Carmine will tell you: If you picked to play as a boy: "Do you think most people act up like that around Kieran's age?" If you picked to play as a girl: "The way he's acting is a bit scary, honestly... Is that just me, or did you feel it too?" Just an interesting detail that if you match Kieran's gender she is trying to learn if it's common while if you match hers she is more honest of how it made her feel.

Yeah, despite being one-time encounters, the paradox mons based on legendary Pokemon aren't actually categorized as legendary in the game's code (legendary and paradox are mutually exclusive in that regard), so the game treats them as any other paradox mon that you can catch as many of as you want.

the sandwich dialogue about tossing the top bun is game freaks response to how the player base namely shinny hunters would toss the top bun aside because it had a chance of launching other ingredients on specific sandwich recipes and as a bonus there was never any recipe that required the top bun in the first place its notable as its one of the few ways game freak made a funny response to a common practice by its player base

This was very cool! The visuals were very impressive!

I loved the little dialogues the special coaches would have with each other. I especially remember how Lacey was talking to Nemona on how she pokemon battled her dad in the middle of some important gym leader event that happened, which could imply Nemona moved from Unova when she was a really young and knew Lacey at that age

Omg yes I did drop the top of the sandwich and got that soecial Crispin dialogue, and I was so surprised to see the game aknowledge it, and that got me curious about the whole game script, this video is a gold mine, thanks

Grusha's my favorite. I actually felt hurt when he said that. I saw him and was like, yeah he seems like a chill dude. So I've been crying myself to sleep since then.

@@gmedley Yea, this video was really well needed and I just love how you organized and laid out the dialogue. so we could all read it without having to go through a bunch of vids or spend minutes reading one chain of dialogue at the uploaders chosen pace. Love it and huge thanks just for that alone. But that is a major thing I really loved about Indigo Disk; the characters made it feel like it was a Persona game, and many times me and my friends constantly joke about that.

I appreciate that Indigo Disk just gives you several opportunities to be completely unhinged

I was thinking about this when I first played through the DLC glad to know alot of the alternate dialog now

Something that has always bothered me is what happened to the other professor in a given timeline (Like in violet what happened to Sada). Would they both still be the parents of Arven no matter the timeline? Or is there some side character we don't know that fills in for the missing parent/professor? One other explanation is the other professor went non a journey instead of making the time machine and such.

The other professor was apparently also a bad parent, as they left not long after Arven was born, and Sada in Scarlet and Turo in Violet struggled as a parent for Arven’s childhood years, until they left him behind after Koraidon or Miraidon goes nuts against a wild Pokémon, leaving Arven alone at probably the age of 9. He had to raise himself, which is probably why he’s not the smartest.

Fun fact: I left lacey last hoping she was hardest one but alas she was not. Drayton was hardes, i won but i struggled little bit againsy his dragons

I'd love a dialogue option that, depending on what you choose, leads you to a different outcome of the story. (Something similar to FE Three Houses Crimson Flower or Silver Snow route.) This would not only make the story more fun and interesting, but would also give people a reason to play the game through again. I think the response options have definitely improved over time.

@@Starriaaa you shouldn't underestimate the amount of people that watch KZread as background noise because they simply can't make it the main monitor thing. Especially a video like this - the entire genre of random videogame trivia is largely consumed by people who are too busy to actively watch these, but makes for a great background noise to listen to at work / during work outs, jogging etc. So a video like this will get a lot more views if you read out everything, instead of just putting it on the screen

Wouldn't this be the opposite? This is all gameplay details that is being talked about. Talking to and learning about respective characters based off of choices you make is all apart of gameplay.
