So glad yu made this video. I just spent a day trying to figure out how many colors are available in each size and this is THE MOST CONFUSING product ever! I don't understand why they don't just start all over and create a universal name and numbering system. They are getting more and more popular and it is crazy to try to hunt down this information. You did an amazing job putting it all together. I share your frustration. BTW if you search exactly for specific key words like "PC-3M 40 set," you can find it easier and can get bigger sets for less money.

Thanks so much for your kinds works. For the most part the numbering system is consistent. The glitter markers don’t have a designation, but other than that it’s pretty similar. Thanks for the tip about the Google searches!

I am a 65 yr old grandmother of 9 and I do A LOT of crafts. I had heard of Posca but I had to learn the hard way how awesome the Posca pens are. I thought to myself how different can paint pens be I’ll buy the cheaper imitation ones on Amazon. Well…….I will tell you. THERE IS A HUGE HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF PAINT PENS. My mother gave me some money for my birthday, and I decided to buy some Posca markers. Woo-hoo, Posca are the total bomb. I love these pens so much. I can’t even believe how many times I have used these pens since September. My only gripe is that I really do not like the red that they offer because it’s not a true red. It’s more like a Campbell’s tomato soup red. I am looking for additional colors to add to my stash and I am so glad you made this video

Omg thank you so much for this video. I was in search of an appropriate Ditto (a Pokemon) purple because the Lilac and Violet I have are too dark and Lavender looks to be what I need.

I LOVEEE poscas! I just got the earth tone set! I love them! Except the “Khaki” green. It’s soooo much darker than I thought it would be. I was hoping it would be an olive color but mine is much darker than the English green. I may try to flip the nib and see if it’s a little lighter

It’s only in England.

When they leak. turn them upside down and let them sit like that . The paint will drain back into the pen. They will cure a bit and be ready to use in a few minutes.

Wait. According to the color range chart shown for 5m, I have colors in 5m that dont exist in 5m…?!?! Khaki, dark red, dark brown, fuchsia, and navy blue. I’m confused!!!!

I have this same problem!

I just purchased a ton of them individually and it was so expensive. I definitely recommend purchasing packs instead, but I only wanted an additional 13 to the packs I already owned (pastel and original). For those 13 it was over $60!!!!

Yeah so expensive to get online and pay for shipping. I bought the 16 pack and the 7 pack of pastel. Gave me good range of colors. Gonna buy a dark red, a different brown, and different grey. That gives me 2 or 3 of every rainbow color.

What is the best color for posca guys?

Does blue mean dark blue? there are no just “blue” posca color on the official catalog that i checked

I've never heard of Blick, I'm from the US and Amazon has the best prices...do you trust that the posca pens on Amazon are legitimate? Is Blick a well trusted artist website? It seems more reputable than Amazon based on its reviews. I'm trying to get as many colors as possible between 3M and 5M. I want to mostly do projects on shoes. Should I get more of the 3M or more of the 5M?? I can't find the 3M 40 marker sets anywhere reputable. I found some 5M 29 and 39 marker sets on Amazon but I'm not sure if I can trust them. I may go with Michael's as they have a 25%off coupon for the sets right now, and a buy 3/get 2 free for individual markers. Thank you for this very educational video. It sucks a lot that Poscas color sets are made in a way where you're buying duplicates a lot -___- at least we are probably going through white and black more frequently than colors.

@cnaj544 I would say waiting for michaels sales is the best bet. The other day I got the metallic set and glitter set for $16 each because they let me use a coupon code over the sale price. I haven't bought anything off blick but they seem cheap too.
