@@ashcudii It's not so much hate, just that she's really, really underpowered in ranked BR. Her ult is really mediocre compared to alternatives and might even be more of a signal to other squads than Revenant's ult, her tactical is meh, and her revive is just completely and utterly outclassed by Newcastle. Every legend is somebody's favorite, so the hope is that they'll be balanced at some point so everyone can play the characters they like at a high level rather than feeling forced to play the meta. Ranked at a certain point is just a question of who on your squad is going to play Seer, who's gonna play Valk/Pathfinder, and who's gonna play Horizon. There are people who can make other comps work, but if you're trying to hit Master/Pred, you're probably going to be playing that if you want positive RP.

As a Caribbean American, I hate the voice she did. It's as good as my accent, which is bad. Very bad.

This gave me tears of joy I love Apex so much and too see the voice actors having a lot of fun doing this it just really puts a smile on my face I wish Rampart & Horizon's voice actor were in here but I understand that it's the OG legends who were in the game before everyone else

Yes and no. I think they did great but if you wanted to be progressive you could easily rip it apart. It’s easy to find oppression, discrimination if that’s the lens you choose to look at life through.

I say it feels pretty forced in that there are no straight relationships. They only show relationships between lesbians etc. So it doesn't represent people well really the opposite.

Great and enjoyable game, amazing voice actors-- Truly appreciate the work and efforts put into every one of them. Although the community within itself is as TOXIC as League of Legends, and Runescape -- the game if it had a campaign counterpart, aside of this mind blowing BR game -- would totally make the game lots of $$ if they want more on each individual's background getting to submerge even more into everyone's favorite character[s] , aside of that -- 10/10 much love to Respawn, EA, and every single one involved behind this successful game. :D

Gibraltars probably the least utilized in the story and lore so it’s a little sad seeing this talented voice actor be wasted with Respawn bringing him in to record like 1 battle pass kill quip a season. I honestly wouldn’t mind a Stories from the Outland about him, genuinely! Could even be about the day he lost his boyfriend to the motorcycle accident or sometime around after.

The woman who voice acts as lifeline is just wrong. Her imitation of a Jamaican accent is just absolutely terrible. If they wanted lifeline to speak patios/have a Jamaican accent why not get a woman who actually can? Also, since they're bringing up "representation" in apex why couldn't lifeline voice actress be a black Jamaican woman, instead they pick a biracial woman from LA who doesn't know how to hardly speak patios... Why not represent Caribbean women? and yeah I'm bringing up race since they're trying so hard to be "representational". The guy who voice acts as Gibraltar gets to play a character who represents him, the two apex legends that are Asian are played by Asians, sear is played by an African, Horizon is played by a Scottish woman, and Rampart is played by an Indian woman. Yet the only two black women in apex are played by biracial women. Yep, no representation there for them... respawn are a bunch of hypocrites and I don't care who gets mad at my comment. Go jump in a ditch. Also If ANYONE tries to argue with what I'm saying by telling me how Lifeline is from a fictional place...I don't care, what I'm saying still applies, she's a black woman that has a supposedly Jamaican accent, where she's from doesn't change a thing. I feel the same way man. Well not so intensely lol, but I HATE hearing her accent. I was shocked when I found out that she is actually of Caribbean decent. I am Caribbean American, my parents died in my teens. I don't do a very good accent. Sometimes, but most times I sound as good as her 😆. If I knew how big the game would be I probably wouldn't have taken that role if I was her. Idk. The woman should get her coins, and I cant hate her for taking a job. What I hate is that the Caribbean feels like a big stereotype in the eyes of the world at large and this only furthers that 🥲. I try to tell myself that she was supposed to do a hybrid accent of an ambiguous West Indian island and a cute anime girl and that's why it sounds bad. It was never supposed to be Carribbean to start. ...🥲
