I binge-watched this last week... and enjoyed every moment of it. I particularly loved the fact that they hired a blind girl to play the part of Marie-Laure to keep it authentic, she does it so eloquently as someone has already mentioned! Worth watching!!

The child who played Marie was also so fantastic 😍

Aria and Louis did an amazing job. They perfected Marie and Werner right to the core. Aria's performance is graceful and profound considering she's blind and it's her first time acting, it's not easy but she nailed it. Louis also did a fantastic job as Werner. He can act with his face alone and his eyes are full of heart and soul. You can't stop rooting for him, he really understood the role he's portraying. I wished them both sucesss in their careers.

So she basically manifested the role by carrying the book with her all the time. Beautiful!!

I watched this beautiful story cos of him. I met him for first time when I saw a film abt war where he was a prisoner soldier. And since then. I've been following his career. I recomend to watch a film where he plays a gay. He Is really outstanding. And now with this series. I love him.

Watched it all in one go. Wow, this was next level quality for Netflix. Bravo to the incredible Aria and Louis- you were outstanding. The final scene of Marie on the beach flawed me with its spiritual, timeless reflection on humanity that was very moving. Well done to all the writers, cast and crew - a real triumph of storytelling.

For someone who doesn't really act, she was incredible!

Aria is incredibly articulate. I can listen to her all day.

This is by FAR THE BEST movie, BEST SHOW, BEST ACTING I’ve seen in a long time… The lead actors of this show had darn well better receive awards for this…I love this movie SO much that I talked about or for days and have highly recommended it to friends and family

Outstanding series. Netflix outdid itself here! The actors and their acting are superb, as is the story--a very important story!

This series has changed my life forever. Everyone is impressed by the performance. I was immersed in everything. The setting, the time period too. I've been a victim of war once although I wasn't as affected like people that were with me, this is probably why I love this so much. There's a lot to unpack to. But I'll always treasure this series and God bless everyone that worked on it, because it gave me hope today.

What a remarkable young woman! I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVED this book and it’s not often that a movie stands up to the book. This one did! Watched it in one sitting and already started it again. Cannot recommend it enough!!! Bravo, Aria!

I haven't read the book, but I thoroughly enjoyed the miniseries. I'm really glad to hear that someone who has read the book enjoyed it as well. I have only been hearing negativity from the book purists. I feel for the cast and crew who clearly put their heart and soul into this project only to be hit with so much backlash. It's disheartening.

I thought this was a movie so I started watching at 10pm last night. I was wrong and I couldn’t just watch one episode so I ended finishing the whole series until 2:30. It was all worth it! I would watch it again! It’s a beautiful piece of work. ❤

I adored watching these two in the show. I hope they stay friends forever ❤

Randomly selected to watch the show, never read the book and I’m glad that I get to see this in its own right and appreciate this masterpiece! Now I will read the book and appreciate its masterpiece in its own right! I stayed up all night so I could watch it twice to see if it could move me a second time just to be sure and it is magical! Now it’s time to watch dark as well! I wish more tv was like this and not the soulless trash that comes out of Hollywood and Disney nowadays ❤❤❤❤ phenomenal cast! Phenomenal acting!! Bravo to everyone who worked on this project and gave us independent thinkers something to truly appreciate!!!!

What a truly remarkable movie series, such phenomenal acting by all of the cast and credit must go to the amazing crew, I have never been so moved in a long time, I was riveted to the screen and watched it in one go…..being a child of the war years and living in rural England I remember the bombing raids quite clearly…..and being targeted by an enemy aircraft while running with my mum for shelter the bullets missing us by inches….the pilot was aiming for our home narrowly missing it and crashed about a mile on, these are things one never forgets, that young pilot died but we survived and I have reached the great age of 83 by the grace of God 🙏

First class performance, the entire cast!

I watched an episode a night. Because I wanted to savour each beautiful cinematic moment. The actors portrayed the characters with such richness. Thank you it is a masterpiece 10/10 💖

I watched the series twice already. I was waiting for it since I watched the trailer months ago and then read the book. The book had to me an unsatisfying ending and conclusion but for some reason I knew the show was going to fill the holes and it definitely did. I'm so happy about having watched this masterpiece ❤

This series came at a great time. Looking at the news around these days, the positive message these interviews, the book and the show have brought are inspiring.

Aria Mia Loberti gave the movie, a feeling of its own, never have i watched a movie/tvshow with some form of "Worlds difficulties you don't see or experience yourself each day" and understood the challenge of that lifestyle and the push-through she had to keep moving even though she was the star, i felt concern for her well being for the story she played, though she sure as sh*t handled herself in the last scene, that i shouted "GET EM MARIE" if you know you know, Aria if you some how get to hear these words i wrote, that character, was made for you, just like the marvel characters being the actor themselves, without you there would of been no enjoyment of this movie/tvshow. and i think many others would agree especially since half the comments i already see scream for the love and enjoyment that you brought and gave to the show, you should thank the people who motivated you to reach for this role.

Aria is a spectacular human incarnation. Inside and out.

Aria and Louis are both articulate. Loved that. Just weird that they were showing Louis when she was talking about Lars, who I now guess was the soldier who wanted the stone. I thought Lars might have been Louis’ nickname. Then she said his character was scary or something, which confused me. 😅

Loved the movie. Actors did a brilliant job.

I stumbled across the series and really enjoyed it. One the best things I've watched in quite awhile.

The book is in my top 5 for the beauty of the language, depth of characters and soulfulness. It looks like they brought the perfect people together to bring that to a mini-series. Can't wait to watch.

Even if we don’t have the same plans by any means in life, seeing someone else with a disability succeed really does give that shining beacon of “you can accomplish” and we need that. I know I need reminded of it because too often I am tempted to just hide away because it’s hard, it’s frustrating. But I just learn to keep going and keep learning.

Oh my gosh! I absolutely LOVED the book when I read it a couple years ago and was really wanting to find a movie for it but couldn't. Thank God! This series has been absolutely wonderful and it has grown my love for this book even more. They did such an amazing job capturing the scenes in the book and portraying the essence of the characters on screen. And the ending and little tweaks they made throughout were beautifully done! No matter how much I love this book, the ending in this series is what I dreamt of while reading the book. Great job!

Well, I may have to watch this. I tried reading the book and really struggled through it due to the excess and flowery description. But I love Louis Hofman and want to watch this now just for him.

Loved the novel and the show. Read the novel when it first came out, i was not disappointed one bit. Especially since the war genre is not my favorite. But that was the point. It wasn't another ww2 novel or story, it was the character's story. Literally the story behind their eyes and the light they saw in themselves. Although, yes, the show has many changes that were different from the novel, especially the ending, it still gave the magical importance and light that every reader enjoyed.

I like this TV Series a lot

I’ve only watched one episode but was disappointed they didn’t follow the book at all. I loved the book and haven’t decided if I will watch any more of the series. I wish they had followed the storyline of the book, it’s such a good story.

totally right? i think the editor confused her saying Lars with Louis and no one else caught that - or there’s no bts footage w Lars so they just tossed in what they had? either way that was strange. but she’s amazing

I’m 40 but I won’t lie I have a big crush on young Louis. He is amazing and would highly recommend the incredible Dark to anyone wanting to see more of him!
