Poseidon really got screwed hard by Kratos because he literally did NOTHING to him even after Kratos caused Atlantis, Poseidon's capital city, to drown in GoW: Ghost of Sparta. For what reason he got brutalized so much will forever be a mystery from story PoV. At least others like Zeus, Hades, Thanathos etc, etc had earned Kratos's ire by their actions and reactions or were simply "Too dumb to live" by pissing off Kratos when he was ignoring them like Hera or Hermes. Poseidon literally just got in his way and got so much more punishment than anyone else.

Yes he did wrong kratos because Poseidon's city Atlantis was a prison for kratos' Mom and knowingly did this under Zeus's orders and also cursed her should she ever revealed his father's true name

People definitely on Kratos’ kill list were Ares,Zeus,Poseidon,Persephone and Thanatos. These 5 pretty much ahd something directly to do with some member of his family getting killed. Everyone else got in his way or made very very stupid choices.

Now let's be for real, if Hades's soul was in his body he'd be talking down all of them, because he fought Kratos one v one and held his own even against his own weapons. Zeus does not count because he got the sloppy seconds more than Hephas would if he went to get some from Aphrodite.

@@robertsweezie8847 He was controlling a water beast. The flashback scene of the Titanomachy in GOW 2, if anything, showed that without water, Poseiden had range/support based powers (lightning). I'm also pretty sure that if it was Zues, Hades or hercules when they got yeeted at the rocks at mach 4, they would've all got up and kept going at Kratos.

God of War is basically Bible the action series, guy goes around killing Gods and overcoming stuff, doing floods and shit like old testament when it done entered the new testament and it chill down (get it... because it cold) reaching for humanity (teaching his kid being father all that) and even influencing the Norse Mythology, i don't know much about GoW:Ragnarok but i won't be surprise if he end up killing other Gods and Giants and cementing something in that place. hahahah

i remember when got of war 2018 came out, i was having trouble with the controls....when i noticed that there was a classic style for the controls. square being light and triangle being heavy, et cet. that made my first playthrough all the better imo

I’m sorry I just watched this. God of war 3’s deaths weren’t as MEMORABLE? He chopped Hermes legs off because he was getting on his nerves. He tore, not cut TORE, Helios’s head off. He just brutalized Poseidon, popped his eyes, and snapped his neck. He beat Hercules, who should’ve been Heracles but whatever,’s face into a puddle. He tore Hades’ soul out, and then beat his father to death after stabbing him. Those are more brutal than anything 2 or any other game has ever done.

I feel like Ragnorok isn't as satisfying as it's not the same Kratos I'm used to, I'm used to Kratos fucking up everything in sight in 5 seconds while brutally murdering the gods of the day, but here, he has to hold himself back because of Atreus and it's not the same because now he's weaker, slower, and much less brutal. Plus, you don't even get to kill Odin or Thor, which was really disappointing for me because I wanted to kill them myself.
