There will always be those who criticize, but never let that stop you from doing what you do. All your dolls and creatures are very artistic and wonderful to those of us who love and understand what you do. 😘
Wonky and Syril are utterly charming. Please don’t let the trolls stop you from making more creatures and dolls. Kate, please make your frog.

There is always a bad apple ( or more) in the basket. I don't understand why people who don't enjoy your videos are watching them. I love the things that you make even the wonky people
Why is perfection the goal? Nothing in life is perfect and I love the human touch that creates a wonky lovely doll! God created us and loves us in spite of our idiosyncrasies!
It doesn't matter what other people say. It's all about the enjoyment you two have together and that in turn makes me happy watching you. Even your wonky or odd creations are marvelous. Thanks for all you do.

These dolls have been given a second life. The creatures I find absolutely adorable. ❤❤ Some people just have nothing better to do than be mean. Never let them dull your shine! ❤
I don't understand why people feel the need to be so judgemental. If they want to watch a professional restore antique dolls, go to that channel. I think what you're doing is wonderful. Taking items that have been discarded and left to rot, and turning them into beautifully, unique OOAK treasures. Thankyou 🤗 And yes I'd love to see you make more teddies, forest animals, dolls etc. They're absolutely perfectly imperfect ❤️❤️

I would love you to just keep doing what you are doing ,your video's are a absolute joy to watch . Oh they would be so beautiful. I can imagine miniature versions of your jumpers, you could be holding tiny paintbrushes, knitting needles, mudlarked frozen Charlotte's made from clay and little cameras and gardening tools. Ooh a doll of handsome Mr Sunny the cat would be gorgeous too!
I love the squirrel!🧡🐿🧡 What's wrong with people? No imagination?
Boy did that bring back memories. I did not realize I have been following you for so many years. Love every single doll and creature here, loved hearing your chatting and laughter. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Oh i loved this video! I just loved watching you two put all the bits and pieces together to make whole dollies. Thank you.
I loved the bottle dump also. All the apple trees and you two always found treasures there. Thank you for sharing. Your laughter and interaction has always been my favorite. Creatures yes please.

Strangely we have put together a compilation of all the bottle dump films which is going up next week on our mudlarking channel. It is nearly 2 hours long and was a mammoth task to edit but it was fun looking back and it made us realise how much we miss that dump :)
I think everything about your dolls is “proper,” perfect and beautiful!
None of what you do is poorly made. You both have amazing creativity and any naysayers are to be ignored. I watch this channel because of your style. The mix and match dolls and wonky creatures makes them loveable. Please keep making your dolls and creatures.

I love them all. There is a big difference between what you’ve created and someone setting out to make a creepy doll. Your dolls tell a story and have intriguing pasts. Instead of being buried in the dump, you have given them a second chance. I love what you have done.
I love the way you made the dolls. The way you made each of them, you gave them their own personality.
I LOVE the doll content! They are all sweet and full of personality to me. It is only a very cheap horror movie cliche that they are creepy…I think of how they were genuinely loved by a child a hundred years ago
I love everything you ladies have made. Each has their own personality keep going ladies go where your creativity takes you.❤
I am all smiles when the stories end. Bubbly.
Yes ladies please make more dolls and your wonderful creatures. Your imagination is so good and your craft skills are very good please don't let rude people interfere with your crafting this is your vlogs and you can do what you like thank you so much for sharing it with us. I love your houses and your clocks also.
I love the pixie! He’s just how he should be, mischievous to the point of occasional malevolence 😍
Yes, please make more creature's. I love wonky. Thank you for all your hard work, and your dedication to both channels.
Listening to you two reviewing your collection of homemade dolls, was GREAT FUN! Using past techniques and improving on them and/or gaging your own personal developments along with your infectious enjoyment as you "TRUST THE PROCESS", is what makes your videos such a pleasure to watch and sets them apart from the crowd- WELL DONE!

Your the "island of misfit toys" and it's the first thing I think of when I see anything you create from throw aways of times past. You have breathed new life into them. What a true treasure that is. It's the memories of mudlarking and the giggles and smiles you two are sharing with one another and with us that will live on for all of us. I for one say go for it, keeping making, keep filming, keep making us smile along with you!
I love your creativity with all things you make. Your imagination is what makes this Chanel so special. I watched you make most of these dolls and creatures on the original videos. Love all of them.
My grandmother used to make porcelain dolls. She did it all: pouring the molds, firing them in a kiln, painting the faces, making the wigs, assembling them, and then making all their clothes. Going to her house every summer, I was always surrounded by dolls and doll parts so to me it's very comforting and makes me think of her. I like the chatting. You were wonderful company while I crochet.

Dolls aren’t scary. I’m in my 70’s and had many beloved dolls as a child. It’s too bad that horror movies are giving them a bad name. Great video.
As I see it, people know these things were found while mudlarking, so I think the way yall make your dolls and creatures is precious.
I collect antique dolls but was recently told id never sell my house with them here,so quickly pointed out that they dont actually come free with the house,CHEEK!XX

@metaphoricallyspeaking45 @JaneMillett8557, seriously? So they were implying that superstition would make potential buyers of your house think it was creepy and haunted and they had better go and look for another one, because of the dolls? Good grief that's a film plot not a real scenario!
Lovely to see all the dolls and those wonderful creatures, we have been fortunate to follow you as you have repaired every doll and created the creatures since 2020. Kate, your creatures are inspired, magical and adorable. The two of you must never deviate from your very creative talents.

I loved every one! I say fooey on mean people. They are your creations so they mean something to you. Ignore the negatives and accentuate the positive!
I love watching you two making dolls and animals. So talented!
When I was a little girl, my grandmother had a closet in which she kept old dolls that tenants left behind, and these dolls were our playthings. We had fun with them and never thought ill of them, even though those dolls had lots of imperfections. I have never watched horror movies, so I have never thought of doll faces as being creepy. I think it is wonderful that you rescued these pieces and made whole dolls out of them. Watching how it is done has been educational for me; I had no idea how it could be done. Maybe someday I can rescue a doll also. I love the embroidery and knitting you have made to dress the dolls. I would have been over the moon to have such a doll to enjoy.:)
Traditionally, a doll's pate (top of the head) is made of paper mache, which you might find easier. There is a channel called Irene's Restoration that you might enjoy. Your dolls are beautiful. Each with their own personality. Your creature with the pipe stems, he is adorable.

The "more dump dolls" with the assembled heads are really nifty!
Absolutely love Dump Baby, Fancy, all the dolls that you put back together like a jigsaw puzzle - it shows the care and love of the past, and I love love love them! I love Wonky bear and the reindeer, and the doll that was a replica from the 20's. There is nothing creepy about lovingly putting a doll back together again. Please keep on with what you are doing. As someone who does not have access to a Victorian doll "dump", I want to see more of this content!! Thank you so much for your care and detail. You have me shopping for a vintage clock to make into a doll scene. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Love all you dolls and creatures, it’s you both that created them!! ❤❤❤

Well I loved them. Please make more. Don't lessen to dislike people they're jealous of you and the great stuff you and your mother can do.
That mythical creature with the pipe stem is my favorite. I love that it came from your imagination Kate.

It's wonderful to see you rescue bits and pieces to make whole again. We aren't all perfect as humans so why can't dolls have imperfections as well?
All of your dolls ARE perfect! A proper, ‘perfect’ doll might not have as much of a story to tell as yours currently do! 😁 One of a kind is very special!!! Your channels are my favorites, wouldn’t miss an episode! Love you guys! 😊❤

Not sure why some viewers have to rain on your parade. They are all very cool and its a joy to see how much fun you both have. Embrace diversity i say.

I think I prefer the doll & creature making to the actual doll house creation, although it does make sense for you to create a place for them to live. 😁 I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane, as I saw all of the original videos. I don't get the creepy factor that makes others dislike your creations. As far as I'm concerned, you could both become full time doll/creature makers, and I would love it. 😍 See you next time. Take care. ☺🤗💖👍👋
They are all beautiful and made with alot of love , who wants perfection . ❤X
If you don’t want a franken-doll, you can buy a new doll. For me, the franken-er the better. And I love the crazy eyed squirrel especially the buttons at the hips and the dark smudges making it look even older
