All That Remain's The Fall of Ideals, Avenged Sevenfold's Waking the Fallen, As I lay Dying's Shadows Are Security, Parkway Drive's Horizons, August Burns Red's Constellations, and Killswitch Engage's As Daylight Dies defined metalcore for me as a kid. In large part to All That Remains.

Watching this brought back amazing high school memories. Slowly expanding my love for metal, meeting a couple of guys who had me listen to This Darkened Heart then dragged me to one of your shows in Albany, NY. I was hooked. The energy you all brought back then was amazing! I also loved hanging out in the parking lot of Saratoga Winners and seeing Oli and a couple others walking back from Stewart's. That was the height of the OG ATR board. I was dropofcrimson and my boyfriend at the time was RhodesIsMyGod. I remember you guys asking the board what song you should release next and we all decided The Air That I Breathe and that it should include a helicopter and explosions. Next thing we know you post it and those 2 things are within the first 30 seconds 😆 I also found my live recording dvd that you released for TFOI when I was moving last year. I can't remember not having this album in a regular rotation since release. It will always be my favorite and not only because it was special to me, but because you guys worked hard on that album and you could hear it. I love you guys! RIP Oli 🖤 JFO

I have an embarrassing story with these dudes. But first. This album is a banger! So at the Arizona sounds of the underground tour 2005 I had them sign a Terror sticker because… I got them confused. (Early internet days which my grandparents couldn’t afford and I was like 15 years old) Phil told me they are not Terror. I tried to play it off like I knew… but I was super embarrassed to admit I’ve made a mistake. Plus I had nothing else for them to sign. They were all super nice about it. It’s funny to think back at the good old days.

Back in 2005 I was in a local band in the Kansas City area and we opened for All That Remains when they played in Leavenworth, KS at the Groundwork. It was the last show of the tour and not many people showed up to this little shit hole place in KS on that night. I was kind of expecting ATR to just go through the motions and be done with it, but holy shit, they put everything into that performance. For just a handful of us. I'll always respect them for giving it their all at that show.

I remember meeting you guys in Lawrence Kansas while I was stationed at fort Riley. Phil was so nice to me it was unreal. Got to see all that remains and as I lay dying. Such a fun night. Pretty sure it was Lawrence. Maybe Topeka. One of the other
