The one cost of not cheating on somebody is we underestimate the weight and the significance of human action. It is not nothing we are the supreme species on earth. Courage or truth can never really come from outside. This is why I think even healthy relationships don't work or even relationships themselves. We are too dynamic and nuanced as a species to lose that.

But what's fascinating is that when cheating in relationships, it's considered to be immoral but when it's cheating on other prospects of life then it is more likely to be forgiven. The video could've also focused on that part of life as well. Why is something like cheating in relationships is unjustifiable no matter how coarse the reason maybe but is justifiable otherwise in most cases? A human, can forget/forgive the cheats that had happened to him, other than romantically but it's so hard to even forgive let alone forget when it's cheating happening even if it was mentally, romantically. Just a personal view might not be true but that's how I feel.

Well I had a similar question from prakhar that, is breaking up and being strong and going back to the single life is that easy for a person who hasn't felt love from people outside of their family when your friend's are getting all the love so you want the same treatment as them, I'm not looking for solution but a discussion of possible outcomes

Loved it! I thought a lot on these aspects all the points you said but obviously couldn't articulate it systematically. This was really very comprehensive and a very clear message of what is wrong is wrong and unacceptably wrong . Period.

Great explanation by you ....but it's hard to be decisive when there are emotions of people involved and one doesn't always protects their societal reputation but of their families and that's why they find it convenient to cheat rather than causing emotional trauma to everyone.

Well done Prakhar. This is the type of film related content (Psychology + Philosophy) we are interested in. Not that stupid MenXP, Film Companion, KRK etc

Agreed with everything. But that last bit on “what to do if you are cheated on” is a bit complex. Earlier I had the same point of view on this topic but Esthel perel’s videos kind of changed my thinking towards it to some extent.

Speaking of cheating/adultery, I am also intrigued about situations in which you're an accidental onlooker in a cheating relationship. I had this thought when I was watching 'The Intern'. If you have a close friend and you accidentally find out that their partner has been cheating on them, you have to deal with all these unwanted decisions (which you wouldn't had to deal with if you hadn't found out), like should you tell them or not. There are a plethora of possibilities flowing from the decisions you take. What if you end up spoiling their long term relationship because of a one time thing by their partner? What if they become so skeptical that they never can trust any partner again? Is it ok to just be in denial of what you saw? Is it my moral responsibility to tell them? Etc etc etc There are so many dimensions to such a situation and it's curious especially because you didn't ask to be a part of the situation. So many moral philosophical arguments to be made in such a scenario that it is just intriguing to me.

If the intimate scenes had not been in the movie,people would have known what cheating does to people. You don't need to show intimacy as it doesn't justify a wrong relationship. There are so many people in this world who don't get intimate but they truely love each other. Intimate scenes in horror movies are not needed.the teenagers can take a wrong step after watching intimate scenes and then disclaimer won't work for them.sex education in our society is cornered but intimacy in movies is praised.
