My idea is that if they created another single player ygo game they could re-use these animations but would also give the option to disable them. Kinda like the Gameboy World Champion games. Or in some cases like some people said sum rpg game. It could be really cool.

I think something that also the PvP focus on what is ultimately supposed to be a casual spinoff also killed it. It's not something that you could play on a lunch break because each turn takes ages due to it having a long timer for four players to all input plays. I know that I didn't have interest after I watched some gameplay and saw how S L O W the turns were, people would make a play and then have to sit around for 20-40 seconds before anything happened. Typically mobile games of this nature are entirely designed for single player and a PvP mode is an autobattle mode where your team composition is all that really matters and the actual plays are put on fast forward.

Actually I think we all need those summon animations like that in master duel.

Lets not forget that this "children" game can : - take your soul to either card or dummy in game world - sever your limb when your life point about to go 0 - put your monster pain into yours in shadow realm - corrupt your soul into something different either with light, sadness, hatred, vengeance or just purely "fanservice" - your soul vanish in another world after losing battle - possession that can turn into deadly game of horror to your loved ones - separate your soul into many versions that lives in different dimensions Thats yugioh for you

Well it also released alongside Master Duel which already had a great following to it and Duel Links which has had a good player base as well for years. If this game ended up being more F2P and not so monetized, people would probably have flocked to it, but the issue is that monetization became a huge detriment to Cross Duel’s life cycle when people were already invested in Master Duel for the long-term and Duel Links, some which have probably spent money for both.

Duelist of the roses with updated models and animations like these would be sick.

It would be great, but they would need to severely limit the number of cards in it for it to be doable, not to mention they'd have to create those cards' effects and sometimes even level from scratch

Man I hope we can get to see these models & animations in a future Yugioh game, because these are too good to just die off.

Small detail I love is how the UI used for showing the ATK/DEF display actually matches with the corresponding series. It’s not just the same. Very cool detail.

Someone needs to use all of the recovered assets from this game for good.

its kinda mind baffling to me how much better they look and how much better those models are animated than the mates in master duel. i wish the mates in master duel wouldn't look like PS1 assets

really sad next month is gonna be the end of cross duel only played it for a few months when it came out but still loved it sad to see it go

Reminds of GX Spirit Caller, the best Yugioh game of all time. I wish modern games like Duel Links and Master Duel had those types of Animation.

@@toribird216 it's just a scrappy 3D idle Animation and for like 5% Summoning Animation and like 7/8 different attack effects, pretty sure they could afford that😅 they already kinda did it in Duel Links, minus the idle Animation.

Master duels turns already take like 3 to 10 minutes I don't want to wait for the game to load a new synchro card every time I go for a basic synchron combo

@@weedmon6830 not really You need to wait for a response for your opponent And the combo takes a while sure But adding onto that the animations for the monsters and that is just a actual waste of time It would be the key cad animations but 10 times worse since most people would have them And the duel links example doesn't work since thats just a 2d static image

FInally! We've needed a video like this for a while, especially now that Cross Duel is ending... though now the only question is if anybody can manage to get out a video of all the *attack animations* (Rip no Romin though)

I had a lot of fun with this game.

Its not that I hated the game, its that it took too long for me to get the effects I needed for my monsters and support for my decks. Didn't help that I also couldn't get Magnum Over Road

I know emulators mean we can still play this game even after September 4th hits but it’s still sad that Konami just gave up on it without really giving it a chance.

I haven't played the game in awhile and as soon as I saw Sky Striker Raye, I got sad cause this game is pretty much dead. If it wasn't for the Gacha System and it's weird power perks the game would've been booming with more life.

Thats not really the gacha case. This game however has biggest graphic among all YGO mobile so maybe that's why they have to discontinue Compared to DL which ace animation usually a mini sceneor MD which only shows on like 2 second summon, this game needs to maintain all the 3D animation and battle scenes as well, i think if the make DOTR with this graphic for online, it will be cooler

I’ll admit, Cross Duel had potential. It even gave the manga characters time in the spotlight with the raid bosses. I just hope Konami will use these animations and voice work in a future Or maybe even an optional update for Master Duel?🤔 (Idk SOMETHING to make Master Duel interesting again->-)

there is something WRONG dude with devs for this yugioh sevens!!! They literally copy paste *"come forth boku no ace"* for tribute fodder such as stray cat etc 🤦😰 they should give this voice lines to meteor impact or boltcondor instead lmao!! NO WONDER CROSS DUEL GOT AXED 🪦💀

Mai was in the game, but none of her monsters were. =( Same thing for Syrus, Gongenzaka, and Romin. And even Ai used Playmaker's monsters instead of his own.

Summoned Skull's anime legs were slightly different from the knees below 4:43 OG Magician of Black Chaos finally gt some love after so many years 9:14 this was in the anime? 11:18 ironic that chazz has the animation with the fusion of alll 5 parts but not animation with y-dragon, x -head or z-tank

They could import all these animations in Master Duel for PC.

Double Iris doesn't appear in ARC-V, but has the ARC-V ATK/DEF panel in the game and is related to Yuya's deck. In the same way, Mokey Mokey does appear in GX, but has the generic panel in the game.

Shark Drake is pretty much forgotten at this point. DARK Knight got like 4 different retrains and so did Black Ray Lancer, yet Shark Drake wants even reprinted. And even when Cross Duel needed to use pre-barian Shark, which was the golden opportunity to give Shark Drake the spotlight for once, they went with freaking Leviathan Dragon instead.
