@@soulistic6758 The Flash has had a budget of 50 Million a Season since 2014. The cost to develop increases each season due to keeping cast and crew. Even in post production, they couldn't afford to keep the original VFX team for Season 8 and needed Superman & Lois's VFX team, who had none of the assets used. The same thing happened to Smallville which ran for 10 Seasons. The later seasons only used 4/8 sets for shooting scenes, because they couldn't afford any more.

Ya, zooms was the best though, bro just the way he ran around the city making the flash look like a complete joke compared to him was crazy, the only thing I didn’t like was the episode after this one, it would have been cool if zoom kinda took over the city, but instead there back to joking around

Its so funny how the savitar arc captures the pure difference in their speed. Barry who is a speedster can barely even see him 🤣

I actually liked Barry’s first encounter with Meena. Really made him seem like a veteran speedster.

the way savitar dragged him across the whole city and barry wasnt even able to react was perfect

Tbh the speedster occurrences after s3 felt more upbeat and fun. S1-3 had a darker more dire tone. Like even Red Death wasnt as dark as Zoom.

The frictionless suit barely does anything to impede his speed tho. Its even stated that the purpose of the suit is primarily to monitor vitals, not get his clothes burned, and practically a communication thingie.

That first meeting with Eobard really hits harder now that we’ve come full circle

Nah Zoom went too hard. Easily the best villain reveal. Not only hurt him physically but paraded him around town for humiliation… It was such a rollercoaster of emotions because we just got done thinking the flash has taken the next step & “leveled up” just for Zoom to come along & show literally everyone that none of that matters; gave me chills the first time I saw it

I didn't know flash became power rangers

I remember thinking savitar in s3 was the time remnant that barry created to defeat zoom. The speed force used this time remnant to fight Barry when he changed the timeline in flashpoint. I was close enough.

You can see that he's in pain, he's having a bloodbath, now he just lies on the ground, he's either discharged of speed or he's in 'pain' which doesn't even feel like pain thanks to Grant not giving a fuck anymore.

Litteraly the 3 main season Villian speedsters absolutely DAWGED HIM when they first meet, by far the most scarey (IMO) was Savitar, able to go so fast HE RAN A WHOLE CIRCLE AROUND THE FLASH WHILE THEY WERE RUNNING AND KICKED HIM LIKE HE WAS IN SLO-MO

Reverse Flash Season 1 was amazing. Great villain, amazing build up. And a really good mentor to the flash. Imagine creating your enemy and raise him to be the person you’ll have to hate so much. Zoom was the best for me. The guy just knew how to put the fear of god in everyone. He also demonstrated that how fast a speedster can kill anyone in any second. Also great manipulator. Apart from the Reverse flash, he also motivated the flash to become a better version of himself and faster. And just like the reverse flash he caused Barry great pain. Both villains left a scar on Barry’s soul. He lost a parent to each of these villains. Not to mention the level of trust he put in these guys to guide him but only to betray in the end. Savitar wasn’t the best but he was the last intimidating villain. I wish they’d stick with the Savitar from the comics. But I like the paradox and the time remnants concept. Only reason Savitar was faster is because he was stuck and operated from inside the speed force. Biggest problem with that season and the latest ones was Iris.

Not to mention, Savitar had the best final fight out of all of them IMO.

Zoom episode was so freaking awesome when i watched for the first time.i was honestly got scared and happy at the same time.Villian with dark,menacing and scary looks,voice and aura.Looking like an absolute monster and beating hell out of main chatacter.i stoped watching flash after season 4 and i glad i did this way,cuz i don't wanna see awesome shows being ruined

In my opinion zoom is the best villian in the show and has made the best first impression. He crippled Barry, Humiliated him at the press office and then at the police station and caught all the bullets with no effort and only needed a single arm to due so. Absolute menace.

i dont understand how people think RF is a better villain than Zoom! imo he is way more menacing and he DESTROYED the flash in that scene.

Zoom lost his magic when they tried to replicate RF. At first, Zoom was great when they let him be the faceless demon type character. But then they made him the mentor that betrays Team Flash and kills Barry’s parent.

Honestly, i just love how they introduced Savitar. Before and after him no other speedster (even Zoom) didn't treat Barry THAT disrespectfully. Yeah, Zoom was more ruthless, but even against him Flash was able to at least fight back and run on par with him for a little, while Savitar just straight up dragged him around like a ragdoll. Definitely, they stand for their words: Zoom: "... remember I AM the fastest man alive" when Savitar: " you're only a man, but I am a god, YOUR GOD".

Thawne had more of a personal fight, not trying to humiliate him or beat him to an oblivion, but just showing how much faster he is. Zoom, he humiliates him in front of the whole city dragging his beat up body around, just showing everyone how much faster he is. Then, you have Savitar, who doesn’t have an intention to kill, yet before his reveal, he ABSOLUTELY DEMOLISHES BARRY DRAGGING HIS ASS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE CITY.

I like most of the villain speedsters except for midspeed hopefully he will be writing better in the finale of season 9 but the True God Of Speed Savitar has to be my favorite speedster Barry has faced off against

Rival, trajectory, black flash

Man s1 reverse flash just standing outside of Barry’s lab. This is back when Barry wasn’t flashing his identity to everyone so the encounter was really crazy

Zoom terrified me as a kid to the point of having literal nightmares. He's the best villain in the show no question.

This is just a thought I always have but the flash has Acc become more powerful faster and stronger with the perception that power can be consumed with grief and greed and selfishness but through everything deaths and losses he’s tunnelled to dicoline it and conquere anyone.What a powerfully played character!

Goddamn, seasons 1-3 were actually pretty damn great. Savitar is badass as hell; I know this isn't technically how it worked, but I loved the idea that he was teleporting around as he ran simply because he was so impossibly fast he could easily enter the speedforce on a whim, whereas even Thawne would need to run in circles a few times to build up enough momentum. And of course Season 1 Reverse Flash was excellently intimidating: I was super impressed with how they managed to make a guy who dresses in yellow spandex look like a total badass. The vibrating effect was a brilliant visual idea.

zoom basically did everything a true villain is supposed to do honestly that's why he was the perfect villian. zoom easily could have wiped the floor and killed barry but chose to have fun with him i loved it.

I love Thawne, Zoom, and Savitar. They absolutely wasted Godspeeds potential. He could have made a good villain for a season. And they failed Joseph Carvers character as well.

Yeah... sometimes I feel like part of the reason this show got so bad towards the end was partially because of the suits. I get comic accuracy, whatever, but lets be honest, it makes him look like a cartoon character sometimes, and decreases the seriousness of damn near every scene.

Ah yes season 1 when this show was good
