I’m friends with my ex husband and we have kids. We have to have sneaky lunch catch-ups because his girlfriend gets super jealous, but our lunches are very innocent and we would NEVER entertain romance. There’s very significant reasons our marriage ended. But the friendship remains. If he treats you right and he’s worth investing in then try to be open about setting boundaries and compromises you both feel comfortable with. Maybe you can join them?
