These are great feeders. We have several. Low center of gravity keeps these anchored well, even with hogs and livestock. Subscribed!

I have 3 of the same style All Season Feeders. Except, 1 is a protein and the other two are corn feeders. I added 2 of the “THE REMOTE” controls and replaced the spinner plates with the Eliminator spinners on the corn feeders, from All Seasons feeders. I’ve had them now for 4 years and haven’t had any issues.

I have 2 of these 300 lbs ASF feeders. The varmint design is ok for raccoons, but not for squirrels. The openings surrounding the spinner plate and the solar panel cable (which they almost destroyed) are too large to keep them out. I used some 1” cage wire material and wired it to the existing cage all the way down to the existing slope sheet. Another issue is that the low profile of the feeder allows the larger wild hogs to manipulate the feeder with their heavy snout to rock it back and forth to allow more feed to come out. Plus, when the feeder gets almost empty the hogs can push it around and actually tip it over. I had to anchor the skids with heavy gauge wire to t-posts that I pounded into the ground or weigh the skids down with heavy sands bags.

Yeah - we always anchor all of our feeders to T posts just in case. You might look at the easy feeder from ASF. It’s more varmint proof even for squirrels.

They sell the ASF Feeder with the plates and not the cage at Buccees for $399. Looks exactly like the top part but the bottom parts has plates to reduce the corn drop at the bottom and inside section of the feeder due to the cage.

That is our EZ feeder, made specifically for Buccees. The base is not as heavy duty as the stand and fill® and it comes with different electronics, but is a great feeder as well.

Are you able to run protein though these or a mix of corn and protein?

  • @rbljackson

I have been eyeing these stand and fill feeders. Considering getting a pair of the 1k stand and fills. One broadcast and the other that electric protein timed dispense feeder. I can’t find any videos of the protein versions though. They look like a solid unit but I need to see them in person. Trying to find a local dealer.

  • @westtexashuntingguys

It really depends on your area. When we are in a location that has cows around, we put it in a pen so cows don’t eat all the corn! We usually tie the feeder into a T post as well, just in case it runs empty so it doesn’t get pushed over. But they are extremely sturdy and solid feeders!

  • @westtexashuntingguys

It’s super solid. As long as it has any corn in it at all, it shouldn’t tip over (even with hogs). That being said, we usually toss a t-post or two next to it because those hogs can be ridiculously strong!
