New tenor clapper. Needs to bed in but already super sounding
I often play the touch of Stedman Caters with which your ringers won the Essex Trophy in 2014 - it was superb striking.
It was making it quite hard to get it up right even if two people were pulling
Such punch.
Why did it have a new clapper. The old one had a wooden shaft.
Because the old one didn't go up right. This one now does and is wooden shafted.
Also the former one was a very early design. It will make a good spare
