I noticed that too. Some players are very careful when pressuring Yoshi at the wall. In other words, baiting out flash whiffs.

Thanks, I'll use this as reference for when I book up T8 whenever that may be. Labbing every character in a game I'm not feeling would've took a lot out of me. If I'm correct, If the base flash hits in the air, you're probably able to pick up with down 2. I've only tested it with Law 3+4 string, but I'm assuming it's applicable in most aerial cases. I'll have to confirm this whenever.

You're definitely able to pick up after an anti air flash with d2, they don't even have to have a high float. You might have to add a micro dash here and there.

I've over ever been flashed punished twice in my entire life of playing this game. Once during the entirety of tekken 7 and once in tekken 8 lol

I'm just wondering does these all flash punish work when you are stand guarding?(holding back). In the video you were on neutral guard(not inputting anything), which makes moves have less pushback on block.

Because most Lee will only use f334 at wall As for B1 i haven't played Lee that long due to my busy school schedule so until the exam is over i don't ever see myself using b1 alot lel. My Lee total playtime is like 15+ hours only

In all fairness, most of these scenarios are being shown near the wall and are very situational. You won't really see Yoshi players do this though.

He lost way more than he gained in tekken 8 he got nerfed every patch and didnt get anything in the recent patch and They nerfed all of his unblockables and he lost alot of his “cheaper” setups in this game at the cost him getting only getting more damage. The new moves they gave him still have duckable gaps like 3,1 and f1+2 from helicopter so he really struggles at high level play. Yoshi till this day has still never won any major tournaments because he’s hard to play against ppl who know the matchup and found ways to bait flash just simply delaying their attacks and you can easily see or read if he going to go for a heavily scaled unblockable low just by doing any hopkick/ jumping attack that ppl claim is “gimmick” but they just don’t know how to apply themselves and cope just cuz they be getting cooked. He’s never really been a top tier character like ever in all honesty. He really has to take major risk and rely on deception to get a leg up on who he’s fighting against. I speak from experience cuz i played damn near ever version of him since tekken 2 basically.

@@sorataoki yea they’re great players of course him and eyemusician for example but they exceptions with great minds. Everybody is not playing like that high level tho 😂 top tier characters have to produce consistent results and break the meta, yoshi has never been meta because people would be switching to him for easy wins which nobody does because he’s not an easy pickup. Easily one of the hardest characters to play in the game to play at high level. Once ppl know the matchup, duck his high or find those gaps in his play. Its not a joke at all its just the facts which you refuse to accept 😂 when a yoshi actually win a major then we can have this discussion. We’ve even had a kuma player win before yoshi so just let that sink in for a minute. You have to play extremely godly to compensate for what other characters like king or jin can put in half the effort but get twice the benefits in the system of tekken 8 with heat involved.
