u'll notice the north accent usually ends at an "a" sound and the south usually ends at "o", "yo" or "ae". just like other countries, there are more korean accents other than the 2. edit: that scene w/ her brother. she was using SK accent at first and then when she notice her brothers foul mood by rejecting the ice cream she switches to NK also: the SK one ends in a lot of different tones. however, the "yo" end syllable in particular was to sound polite and sends respect to the receiver.

hoyeon mentioned in an interview how she was actually trying so hard not to laugh at 0:09 and i can't unsee her smiling a little behind her hair

I don't care about her looks but I love her development. On the surface she is a cold, tough criminal from the North, she trusts no one. Gradually she opens up, you recognise she has gone through a lot of shit. At one moment, a tear even runs down her face. The conversation with the other girl really struck me and near the end, I couldn't stop thinking about her little brother.

most guys here care about her beauty but for me i realised she was one of my favourites and her death had an impact on me because she represents a lot of ppl like me.She was the silent type.Minding her own business.She hated people in a way and never trusted anyone.She was broken but she had reasons.At first i thought she was annoying.But in the end i saw who she truly was and her death was very sad.I feel that she could be me.Everyone hates you because you look distant and silent.But when they get to know the real you and fully understand why you are like that they realise that you are a nice person.And for me that is the reason that made me love her character in the end more than anyone else.Her ending was brutal and there is no coming back :(

Just a theory, saebyeok is lightly stabbed and there’s actually darker blood, she passes out from the abdomen injury and then she cuts her way out of the coffin with the knife and the vip’s agree to heal her wounds in return for her being a pink guard and then she becomes manager and when Gihun goes to stop squid game he meets her.

She doesn't eat her food at the end because her intestine was probably pierced by the glass. She knows if she eats it will be worse for it so she was probably trying to just last long enough to finish the game so she could go to a hospital. The wound would not have been deadly if treated but she ran out of time and bleed out before the final game.
