Fantastic entrance, killing persona and characterization of Penta "Oscuro." Very great to see the dark side of Pentagon in AEW. This character of Pentagon, IMO, is a world title material. He was the Lucha Underground World Champion as Pentagon Dark only. Excited for this run.

Big Issue is him living in England. He lost basically a year worth of storyline and development due to Travel.

This Pentas best version his match v Vampiro is still one of my favorites till this day

AEW doing death metal gimmicks and entrance themes better than anyone else I've ever seen. Hell the production values are better than most metal shows. Love seeing these badass gimmicks garner major reactions

Okay, just to be clear, I love Penta and the Lucha bros as much as the next guy. I've been a fan since before Lucha Underground. That being said, I have to admit that when I saw Alex mouth the words to the entrance music like that I did start laughing.

Badass of an entrance Rukus delivering again with the music welcome back Penta Oscuro.

LOVE this entrance! The addition of Alex as a Dark Priest/ Cardinal WITH the Censer is a great touch!

Presentation is everything in wrestling, and Pentagon is on another level. This Penta Oscuro gimmick looks even better.

Just imagine a match between Penta Oscuro and Willow. That would be one interesting match.

@@Raddon There wasn't a gimmick specifically named Dark Pheonix, but he did go through a patch in Lucha Underground where he wore black and put people through a fair few beatings if I remember rightly.

The entrance was so cool, I was really hoping to see Penta get the win after debuting Obsuro in AEW. Or even him turning on pac after the match for losing and becoming a singles phenom.

I’m also a Lucha Underground fan. It’s been too long since Penta unleashed his dark side. It would’ve been cool to see Vampiro manage him like back then, but I’m still so happy to see Penta Dark return. I’m excited to see what happens.

Penta El Zero Miedo's entrance was already outstanding as it was, but Penta Oscuro's entrance on the other hand was absolutely extravagant & extraordinary. Alex Abrahantes new attire looked pretty damn cool too!!

Abrahantes' getup here actually reminds me of when Vampiro entered for his legendary final match, the gruesome and horrific 'Cero Miedo' match against Pentagon Jr. in Lucha Underground when he revealed himself as having been Pentagon's master all along. He came out dressed like a dark pope, in robes with a white-painted face and swinging a smoking censer. That match was awesome and _solidified_ Pentagon as a star in the mainstream.

Love the theme, love the transformation to Penta Oscuro. Oh man, I can't wait to see where this feud goes. If this goes deep into the lore of lucha underground and its violence, who knows who will come out of the woodwork next? Vampiro, the man who brought us Penta Oscuro in the first place? Oh boy...

i LOVE the idea of Malakian Black bringing the dark side of people, Penta Oscuro is a genuine awesome version of Penta.

I dont know why @Wrestlelamia hated this entrance....I LOVE THE DARK VERSION OF PENTA AND DARK ALEX :)

Can i say something? Penta should turn heel, join forces with the House of Black (because this persona makes sense with the heels gimmick) and them Buddy Matthews debut as a babyface. If was this case, they could book a tag team match next week between Penta and Brody King vs Buddy and PAC, and them they do for AEW Revolution Malakai Black vs Buddy Murphy (a classic and one awesome match to present Matthews for the fans).

Because Penta doesn't need to be a 3rd man in a group where he's already better than the others... Spanish folks believe in Penta and Rey alot more than they do the other Hispanic wrestlers so why split them for this unproven group? Pentas booking has NEVER made him to be a weak minded individual.. Penta as a heel wants to just break and kill everything.. Their ideals don't line up at all.. Pac should be the one turning heel.. He's at his best as a heel and probably fits that role better than matthewa

That Entrance was f-ing great.

Alex is the man! Gives it his all each and every time.

For those that don't know his lucha underground history you're in for a real treat. He's nuts and all about breaking arms and hope he remains that way using this in aew. Rather see vampiro with him than that guy with a vampire like look

Great look and presence but my issue is that it lacked escalation (they lost once and it was enough to turn him to the dark side?). Also facing an equally dark and sinister team kinda reduces the impact of his persona (the fact that Pac didn't really change doesn't help either).

Black mists you and you change. It's been remarkably consistent. Cody got aggressive, Julia still hasn't recovered and is never happy, and Pac went blind and then had a character change. Penta even had a promo where he said the mist hit his soul. They're setting up a 3 on 3 feed for when Rey returns. Calm down.

What a theme and entrance!!!

Love this version of penta!!!

We need Penta back to being a heel and snapping arms, I’m sure he’ll eventually turn on Pac and Phoenix will come back to save the day once he’s healthy. Entrance was electric but feel like they should have made Penta Oscuro look way stronger during the match, didn’t love that House of Black and Matthews mowed him down. I love Alex, but he needs to lose the face paint. Be more like the sinister minister for this gimmick, not Paul Bearer.

It's about time they had Penta do his dark side gimmick Penta Oscuro. But I think that his entrance would have been better if he didn't have the shovel and tombstone. And also if Alex was not dressed like a vampire. Anyways I did like the music they used.

the entrance was cool and all but in the match he was just penta? no extra aggression no brutal moves just a regular penta match. and if you debut a new evil brutal character on your tv why book it so it gets destroyed? i normally enjoy how AEW books the dark stuff (well except for the original dark order) but this one was a miss for me.
