I'm not sure if you mean in starwars or in general. In both cases the answer is still no. They were held back by their jedi generals and while a small minority were skilled tactician and great military leaders many were not and shouldn't have held the position.

The design of all the different clone troopers in ROTS are very creative, it's a shame their scenes are so short and fast moving, it's hard to appreciate them all.

Just thought to mention that the Jedi cloaks worn by the clone troopers could also be seen the Lego Star Wars the complete saga in the Jedi temple level with Obiwan and Yoda. Also, great video. It was a fun watch.

Im going to say something wierd but I always really loved the phase 3 clone pilots. Their helmets are just so unique!

I want a game where you play as a clone trooper and you can go into different divisions and fight with republic until the storm trooper armour comes in

I think most people agree RotS was by far the best of the prequels.

Prequels are awesome - I love how detailed your video is with regards to the details between early phase 1 and phase we see in TCW tv show - Fantastic video guys! love your work!, high key Dice shoulda watched vids like this, then maybe the new bf2 skins would actual be accurate (cough 327TH!)

The Advanced Recon Force troopers specialized in using camo, the other kinds of clone troopers less so. That being said, it would be nice to see confirmation of whether or not the 41st Elite Corps had regular phase II troopers wearing camo or not. We've already seen them in LEGO's battlepacks.

Godsdj they are actually canon now, as of battlefront 2, they are part of the 41st Ranger Platoon, a sub-unit of the 41st Elite Corps.

Cant wait to see the rest of the legions skins implemented in battlefront 2

I just realized that Captain Rex's helmet is just Phase II with a Phase I visor.

The white and grey 41st clones can be seen in the back ground on Utapau when Kenobi is trying to escape

Couple of errors: 5:47 is wrong, the Galactic Marines wore a mixture of armour, including the set Bacara was wearing, if you look closer at the battle, you can see multiple “bacara’s” running around The 501st legion was not led by Rex or Anakin.

7:41 that’s the stance Stormtroopers use that’s why Stormtroopers always miss

I mean to be fair that armour must make it basically impossible to properly shoulder and aim a rifle. They pretty much have to hip fire to shoot comfortably... but it causes them to miss every shot. xD

The Phase 2 Clone Trooper helmet also carried extra oxygen supply. It's T-visor represented, "heads up" display.

The reason the 41st wore Scout Trooper armor on Kashyeek is because of it's Climate, Terrain, and the clone's Mission Objective, It was common for armor to be switched out for armor better suited for the mission (Ex: 2nd Battle of Geonosis.)

The white CTs in ROTS are actually part of the Coroscaunt Defense Force. They had grey shins and other grey bits, including hand plates and shoulder bells. This is according to official Lucasfilm sources.

Phase 2 armor was lighter but it was not stronger than its predecessor. The phase 1 armor was stronger than the phase 2 armor because the phase 2 was designed to give better mobility and comfortability for the wearer while the phase 1 was initially designed to offer more protection to the wearer rather than focus on the wearer's range of movement. The phase 1 was only experimental because the Kaminoans did not fully adapt the armor to human anatomy yet.

I love how you only showed the bf2 327th specialist bc that's the only good looking skin from dice's 327th and even then it's horribly innaccurate, and you didn't even show the 41st XD - bc like you said, and Dice just can't be bothered to use the resources available from being AFFILIATED WITH LUCASFILM, Gree was the *only* clone to have normal p2 armor on kashyyyk - come on dice

I agree but I think it was just Dice being pure lazy about clone wars season. They should have had it before solo and should have made the clone skins more accurate and what's with this one map for clone wars yet we get a reused map and a brand new map for solo? Dice is just lazy

Well I wasn't trying to imply Dice isn't lazy, I realize that might not have been clear in that comment but I completely agree man. I think releasing the solo season when they did was a good idea provided they released clone wars right after, not leave us with a drought of content all summer while they do nothing but make roadmaps and create new game-breaking bugs. As for the skins, again I totally agree, these clone skins have been in the game hidden for months and they couldn't even be bothered (they are very lazy) to update them, it's like they don't even know they're making a star wars game - there's no passion, no care for the clone wars era. And on your point about the one map, yea idk, first I think this summer they should've remade all maps, skins, and heroes from bf1 to give us some nostalgia before clone wars (it would've been easy too) and then given us like 3 maps like in bf1. smh dice...at least we get something this fall/winter tho but at what cost to the playerbase's faith and population?

+Jason Forrest I gave up on hoping anything good comes out of ea and dice because they release content like this, yell everyone to love it and if we don't we are attacked for making criticism that tries to improve the game. They do the same thing with battlefield 5. I think with the remake maps are a good idea but I wish more clone wars maps. There are so many possibilities for that but unfortunately I doubt anything will come after Geonosis. Hey....I just realized that we should have gotten new weapons from pre release seaons, where are they?

You make great points my friend, it's nice to see someone so similarly minded to myself on this subject, although I will say I am a bit more hopeful for what the future can bring, eventually I'll get my forum account made and will post on a variety of topics. But yea Ik what you mean about being "attacked" - many times I have been criticized for nit-picking or critiquing what I think is cheap, low quality game development. We need to call them out so we can see this game rise to it's fullest potential, a star wars game like this should unquestionably be the best game out there, not one which is laughed at for lacking content, having way too many bugs, and being ptw at launch.

​​@@SJ-gy3toProbably because they didn't feel like creating a new model and liked the regular BARC design enough to put em all in it. He only appears on screen for a few seconds. In universe, the reason is probably because he was completely uncaring to his troops (worse than Bacara), so he didn't want armor that makes him more of a target to the enemy on the battlefield. Effectively, he would've been blending in with his own troops to use them as a shield if necessary
