I think the epilogue was one of the last things they worked on and part of me believes they did ran out of time when it came to things like Johns character model. They should have pushed the game release date back another 6-9 months until John looked perfect and other things wear fixed.

@@StuartLugsden That and Guarma feels that way. You think they’d plan that out first. This game feels so disconnected from RDR1. Characters seem like complete different people than the monsters John claimed them to be in the first. Like they wanted to humanize the whole gang or something.

The tiny oversight of not giving us multiple bandana options, scarves etc and ponchos deprived us of such awesome outfit possibilities

The lack of ponchos was very disappointing. I preferred the preset outfits in the first game than making your own in RDR2 because the options to choose from weren’t that great I wish we got ponchos, belts for pants instead of suspenders, different bandolier options and the option to purchase a knife belt loop like John had in the OG

@@spookmaster420 Yeah, also choosing the positioning of the offhand holster, cos it kinda ruins some outfits, being able to wear it on your other hip like Dutch would’ve been awesome cos it looks so much better imo. I also wish we could have the rifle holster for John’s classic outfit, we could still have two long arms but it just shows one obviously and whichever you have chosen shows on your back

At first most of the complains around John didn't really bother me. After seeing the difference between the vanilla version and a modded version I came to realise that those complaints are justified. This company game this game so much love, they made a beautiful story , they gave it a disgusting amount of detail and yet they messed up John so badly and they refuse to fix it. How and why?

As much as I love Arthur (and trust me, I do) RDR 1 John will be forever be my favorite gunslinging protagonist. His demeanor, style, and all around story is as great as the day I first played in. I love seeing these outfits remade by fans. Just shows that if they wanted to remaster Red Red Redemption, it’s basically already in the game. Would love a Red Dead Revolver reboot one day if they choose to deviate from the Vander Linde gang.

Same. I think I like them the same, but something about how straightforward and sharp John is just makes him so cool. Arthur is obviously smart and badass too, but John is a different kind. He’s more articulate in RDR1, his voice is deeper, and his demeanor is just awesome.

Word of advice, wipe your chin it’s dripping from rockstar’s skeet oh and pull their pants up while you’re at it.

I remember the first time seeing John's hair design in rdr1 combined with the cowboy outfit and thought that was the coolest badass outlaw ever but then when rdr2 i expected him to look exactly like in rdr1 but was confused as to how rockstar messed up his hair 😢

@@fenderstrat2202 i’ve re-reviewed it. the reason why the fade works so well is because the normal version makes the hair poof out, but the fade makes it normal

It took away that feeling that something isn't right with our Jhonny boy. I don't know why, but it feels odd playing rdr2, it was not the experience i was hoping for. I loved so much the musics of the first one, the atmosphere, the biblical references...

Yes!.. can’t believe you actually used John’s cut knife for The Cowboy (RDR1 STYLE) outfit!.. great job And the smooth camera work for showing off the outfits is 10/10!.. can’t see any inaccuracies *yet* You’re gonna have your work cut out for you, if you plan on showing these outfits off with gameplay lol! Edit: literally only two inaccuracies I can tell.. is that you have two knives.. one above satchel on the hip is correct.. but there is one still behind the gun holster *(I assume you know this probably you probably can’t remove it for reasons etc..)* The other one is John not having his rancher vest open.. **probably can’t do much ‘bout that either.**

thank you for the comment! the RDR1 knife position is tied to the rdr1 belt. while the knife sheath can be removed. you have to disable it every time you change outfits and sometimes i forgot. And about the rancher vest, without model support if the sleeves are rolled down the middle of the open rancher vest area will be invisible. and if you can glitch it to get the full shirt model it clips badly in all areas.

I loved the Bollard Twins outfit in RDR1 and always rocked that whenever I wasn’t in Mexico. When I was in Mexico, I always wore the poncho.

I almost thought the beginning of THE COWBOY was in real life even though I knew it was rdr2, that game’s way to realistic

The hair doesn't look good but other than that, fantastic. I wish someone would take John's NPC hair and shorten it properly for a proper 1911 mod.

I like to think the rdr2 version of John's cowboy outfit is different because its less worn, but both versions look pretty cool so im not complaining

I’d like to think it’s canon that jacks jacket is actually Arthur’s jacket. (Even though I know it probably isn’t). They made them look pretty similar.

John’s supposed to unlock the elegant suit in rdr1 but he wears it during his wedding and during the saint denis heist. You’re not making sense

@@BeatleHarrison The wedding outfit isn't the same as the Elegant Suit, but if we're going this way, then I agree. I'm honestly fine with the outfits currently for John, but we should have gotten his NPC outfits. And the reason NA was in RDR2 was because Arthur was originally supposed to go there, but they cut it at the last minute.

I wish they had the actual legend of the apocalypse and not legend of the undead especially since they have the human version of army of the undead but still all of this is amazing

You know what we see in promotional art like arthurs Green gunslinger,John's blue denim vest, and John's fancy gunslinger from rdr1 are some of the best looking outfits. Yet only by the use of mods or in-game items can we replicate these outfits. It's just sad that they don't give us the outfits .

I have over a 100 mods installed uncluding all these mods. My game is so amazing now I literally hate vanilla RDR2 now, everything from the music, the character looks, dialogue, loading screens, the ambience, the clothes, weapons and many more things just make this game much more better trough mods.

man the rdr2 experience is so much better on pc. having a console hurts so bad!!
