    the theme song is based on the classic theme toon(the "spider-man spider-man does whatever a spider can" one) if you look closely at the lyrics they're reordered and different words but very similar phrases "Fighting crime spinning webs" "spins a web any size, catches thieves just like flys", "he can leap above our heads" "take a look overhead, hey there, there goes the spider-man", "looking up with no surprise, arriving in the speed of time" "like a streak of light, he arrives just in time", "Crawling through the night Facing evil in his might" "In the chill of night At the scene of a crime"

But only four of the things in these videos could reasonably be considered references to the Sam Raimi films. It's crazy how most of these aren't even references to the Raimi trilogy. Yeah, you're gonna have similarities/parallels between different interpretations of the same character. The movies are not the blueprint. Spider-Man is gonna fight bad guys on top of/on the side of buildings and vehicles. Spider-Man is gonna have cars thrown at him/be thrown at cars. Peter and Aunt May are gonna have financial problems after Uncle Ben dies. Spider-Man is gonna run out of web to shoot. Doc Ock is gonna put on the mech arms.... Spider-Man is gonna take off his mask............ There's only so many similarities because both the show and the movies are based off the same thing.

    @@cxssetteman182 A lot of scenes are similar and yeah, there are certainly scenes that are direct recreations/homages to the Raimi films, but most of these I wouldn't say are direct references from said films. Spider-Man is Spider-Man. He's gonna do Spider-Man stuff no matter what movie/TV show he's in, there's bound to be similarities.

  • @canaanmcbee

    @canaanmcbee

    Жыл бұрын

    @@cxssetteman182 If anything, I'd say there are only about three, maybe four actual references to the movies. The way Spider-Man lands and poses on top of the train like in Spider-Man 2. The way he ran/scaled up that building to get to the train like in Spider-Man 2. Whenever Venom holds his head and Spider-Man grabs those wooden boxes and yanks them to smash into Venom, just like in Spider-Man 2. (Lots of Spider-Man 2 references I'm noticing) I guess the part where Otto gets his neural inhibitor chip gets fried, but that's about it really. All of the other things he does showcased in this video are things he would do anyway, in any interpretation of his story/world. Again, the Sam Raimi Trilogy is not the blueprint for Spider-Man as a franchise.

    In The Spectacular Spider-Man version Eddie had brains to go along with his brawn but in the Raimi universe he had neither, Gwen in the Raimi universe is insanely shallow and an attention hog with no charming personality while in The Spectacular Spider-Man universe she is smart, caring and amazing.

    I just started watching spiderman animated series and never relised Tobeys spiderman was using reference from one of my most favorite shows as a kid, the nostalgia it gave me was amazing, they basically copied the scenes and pasted them onto the movie but it was awsome 🙏💪😭

    They already did the Symbiote storyline. Also, it's not re-enacting the movies. It's just little references for the fans and similar fight scenes.

    The show literally took most of its inspiration from tobeys Spider-Man, and people have the audacity to say spectacular spider-man is Tom holland’s spidey. Tom is waaayyyy closer to the 2017 animated Spider-Man, even the suits are similar.

    It's funny, because the Raimi movies are more adapting the 90's show than the comics, so it went from T.V. show to movie, then back to T.V. show.

    I can’t believe there are people out there that believe The Spectacular Spiderman is the best Spiderman there is when Otto Octavius called himself Doctor Octopus, when the whole point of his character was to make an invention that would save money and make energy and to help people, but instead it just treats it like he’s a joke and it doesn’t matter
