So enjoy the video!!.
And if you are looking for alternative in similar price you can check out my Cammus LC100 and Thrustmaster T-LCM pedal.

    I use a Heusinkveld sprint set and my brake broke. Now I need replacement before my sprints are repaired, do you think the simjack could be an alternative for the time? Are they better than the Fanatec clubsport? Those are the other „cheap“ pedals I’d consider using as my temporary replacement/backup.

    The fact that the resolution is not of great importance, are you judging from experience or from some kind of theoretical calculations? I just ordered these pedals and they are already on their way, and I found out about the low resolution after the purchase and I wonder if this will be a problem for me. Now I'm using Fanatec CSR Elite there are 1024 values.

    Is your USB hub active (external power 5V) hub? This might help your readings be more stable between hub/direct to PC. As you seem to be very knowledgeable with engineering you could look at the sim-jack board and add some capacitance to the incoming 5V, maybe double. This might help stabilize readings as well. If you have access to purchase lock-nuts (nylon insert) it could help with your tightening/loosening issue. Good luck to hit 1000 subs.

    Had to use Heusinkveld elastomers and some spaces between the mounts the get rid of the rubber degradation and the wobble. So 250$ pedals become 300$ anyway. Still more affordable than Heusinkveld, but I think there are other brands like Cammus that might be more value for money.

    I just use different springs for my brake, you can find them very cheap if you look for 3D-Printer ones. The default elastomers are really bad.

    Have you checked how many positions the pedals actually have? Some write that there are no 10 bits, but in fact only 340 positions or so.

  • @BoreyEngineering

    @BoreyEngineering

    Жыл бұрын

    about 0.2-0.4% per step, 300 step seem reasonable. 16 bit is the reading from raw value. but you can only use small part of the raw value range sooooo 300 step. You can see in for your self around 2:00 and watch it frame by frame. Anyway resolution don't matter very much. the game probaly smooth it for you anyway

    Not really Cammus is also not perfect. I’m still keep looking for better pedal. Let me take some times to collect money and I will buy better pedal. maybe heusinkveld🤔. But for me I just like Cammus LC100 more because I don’t have any problems with themal expansion yet. It is probably less noticeable. But LC100 is squeaking a lot. Maybe I need to lube it a bit more.
