What I find interesting about Blake is that, at least how I interpret the way he describe how he feels emotions, he could’ve easily become a psychopath. However, his upbringing made it so that he would value justice & following the societal- determined good, even if he didn’t understand the concept in full.

There’s an argument he already is. Certainly emotionally stunted, he only cares about achieving his missions and doesn’t care who he steps on or how it may hurt their feelings to get there, if the police force ever got taken over by someone with nefarious means and tasked him with performing evil acts I’m not certain he would question it.

A psychopath isn’t necessarily evil. They just don’t see anything wrong with doing certain actions, which is absolutely true for Blake. It’s not that he isn’t a psychopath, he was just taught what to do and what not to do. So his moral compass is based on logic rather than emotion.

Dia and Yellow would have the most wholesome friendship ever if they met each other.

I don't really agree that Dia is Lawful Good. More Neutral Good. He does things his way, even if that's not how other want him to. At the same time he isn't a loose enough canon to be chaotic good

It was always weird to me how Platinum was called that instead of Pearl while Pearl wasn't called Platinum. Part of me assumes that they found the "Platinum" name sounding more classy, given the sort of family she comes from.

There’s also the fact that Diamond and Pearl are already good friends by the start of the DPPt arc (since they’re a manzai comedy duo and childhood friends), so calling Pearl “Platinum” and vice versa would be kind of strange and clash with Diamond’s name. Also, Platinum’s name wasn’t officially revealed until they reached around the 6th gym, I believe; as a matter of fact, Pokémon Platinum hadn’t yet been released or even announced when the DPPt arc started serialization, so leaving the second character in the main duo without a name (or giving him his default name, which would still be very conspicuous) while giving a name to the character who’s initially a 3rd wheel would probably end up sidelining him.

Y is definitely chaotic good. Don't make her mad or she WILL go murder mode, luckily for characters like Clemont and Trevor she only grabs them by the collar and shakes them and doesn't really hurt them. However she can be a little inconsiderate at times seeing as Clemont had just been crushed by a tree and Once yelled at Shauna after she got mind controlled however she only does this when upset. That's why I prefer X, however I found it strange that he of all people was the only one to trust Clemont

From this video, it's analyzed that most of the female dex holders are portrayed to be on the 'standard good' in the sense, similar to the Pokegirls in the anime, with Green (Female) being the strongest outlier, while the male Dexholders are strongly more diverse in the morality chain, from ''goody good'' Diamond to ''lack of empathy'' Blake to ''Selfish Ruby''. I believe this was enforced by the author, to ensure the female and male Dexholders have enough differences in personalities to make interesting communication and dynamics.

Soudo/Henry is def Chaotic Neutral. I won't go further to avoid spoilers but even with some disagrees i have for little details, Soudo is far the one i disagree the most, which is fair since you didnt read further

The only thing I found as a mistake is calling Cyrus crazy in the manga. Unlike his game self he has actual motivation driving his actions and is fully capable of realizing when things go too far and will put a stop to things like when he helped dia free palkia and dialga.

@@VeeVolt all I’m saying is that Cyrus is a flawed man and unlike most crazy people he is fully aware of his flaws. He was a man born in sunnyshore who had two passions. The intricate workings of machines and history (in particular the lake trio and the philosophy of the three conditions to be whole). In another time he could have been a great historian or archeologist. It’s because of these two passions that he came to the conclusion that like him the world is flawed and wished to change the world in order to make it whole and better an utter reset. And let it be said Cyrus didn’t want to make the world “in his image” he already knew he himself was flawed. If Cyrus was truely crazy he would have followed the path of his game and anime counterpart and refused change by staying in the distortion world but manga Cyrus not only has the self reflection to accept his own flaws but also after being beaten by the sinnoh trio he realizes that one can become whole by grouping with others who can make up for your shortcomings. And in order to prove him better then his other counterparts once manga Cyrus found himself in the distortion world he came to his own conclusion that something was off with that world and he needed to get out along with the sinnoh legendaries trapped in that world and even by the end is forgiven by shaymin. Cyrus was flawed, Cyrus was damaged, Cyrus was driven enough to commit horrible deeds for a misguided conclusion of his philosophy, but he was never too crazy to be incapable of introspection, change, and redemption.

I’m gonna argue with the placements of both Sun and Henry. Sun is an extremely selfish individuals who prioritized money over the safety of everyone and everything around him. He never seems to do anything out of a desire to help anyone else, and deserves to be somewhere in the evil category, in my opinion. And Henry is shown to be apathetic towards basically everything that doesn’t interest him. SPOILERS Casey says in one of the latest chapters that she basically lets him get away with being a jerk because she thinks him ignoring what everyone else wants (or needs) is on the same level as her speaking loudly (something she has no control over). Henry ignores Eternatus in order to inspect the rusted sword and shield, but that was because of Eternatus’ poison effecting his head, and he has shown regret for that. But I’d still say he’s Lawful Neutral or True Neutral. All that being said, they are both children. So their actions are probably partially due to immaturity.

funny enough another thing about Henry is that despite his nice personality he tends to not really hear other peoples problems with honestly when peony first met him he instantly hated him because he remined him of rose his brother Nia would later go on to say how when other people are talking to Henry especially about their problems he just nods with a smile on his face but in actuality he doesn't seem to care which Henry himself didn't realize. In fact it was because of his obsession with gears and his personality because of it that hops got on Casey about letting him be that way just because he's one of the few people who tolerate her constant screaming

I honestly can't rank the Pokedex Holders since they are all good. I mean, they have their own pros and cons which makes them unqiue.

This was a very interesting video! My favorite dexholder is Ruby (what a surprise lol) and if I had to chose where he would fit it would be either True Neutral or Chaotic Neutral. I love how all the characters in the manga are very interesting and how we see their morals throughout the story. Keep up the awesome videos man :D

Hmm that’s a good question if you want more focus on female characters the best arcs in Pokémon adventures to read is the Yellow arc, Ruby and Sapphire arc and Diamond,Pearl and Platinum arc I think those arcs balance the male and female main characters quite equally

Henry is not lawfully good. I guess you haven't read the latest chapter when you made this video. Like everyone almost died due to his selfishness.

Kind of a misleading title since both the thumbnail, intro and title all say ranked "good to evil". Yet none of the characters are ranked as evil. A more accurate description would be "ranked with D&D alignment chart". As it stands this feels like clickbait, so I won't be clicking on any of your videos in the future.
