My dumbass was confused cause I thought you forgot to put the voice comparison for Elizabeth but then I realized it was the same VA 😭

All of these new voice actors are definitely letting their own personal talent shine through while also remaining faithful and close to the original voices as well. It's clear that this new generation of voice actors greatly respect and admire their forebears and want to do their roles justice.

I can't imagine the pression that Tara Platt have when she know that she must replace Tara Platt But listening her singing give me the same vibes that the original Tara, and i'm happy to hear her have a exelent interpretation of the new Elizabeth, but i will be missing the original one 💙💙

Wow I did not realize that was Chris Hackney as Jin, I'm bloody delighted to hear that as he's one of my favourite VA's. I do think it's sweet they've brought Tara back as Elizabeth.

Second time I see Tara Platt and Chris Hackney in the same project. I wonder if they'll bring Joe Zieja on board as well.

Takaya's new voice definitely makes him sound more intimidating despite him not really being physically intimidating

I just realized, Takaya is voiced by two Frieza voice actors. Derek Stephen Prince voiced Frieza in the Bang Zoom! dub of Dragon Ball Super while Daman Mills was Chris Ayres’ understudy and now currently his successor in voicing Frieza for Funimation dub.

Elizabeth is the only survivor of the “new voice actor-mageddon”

Something about Chidori’s old voice I really liked, was unique for sure. But guess it’s more fitting now

Now she sounds like a stereotypical emo girl that is tired of her parents. “Better” isn’t the word I would use. The previous Chidori worked because it was a unique voice for a character with a unique design in the game. And the new Chidori can sound like a completely different person at times. I’m sorry but Reload Chidori isn’t the one.

Pharos sounds way older. Same with Akihiko. Prefer the older voices for them.

I'll be honest...I prefer Chidori's New VA. The old ENG VA sounded 10 years older than she should be Imo, and the JNP one sounds 10 years younger than she looks to me, (Ik Chidori's also 16, and her JNP VA sounds enough like a 16 year old, but both the old portrait art and old ENG VA in P3P always looked and sounded like...30 years old to me, which made the whole Junpei-Chidori arc feel REALLY weird to me in P3P despite the fact they were still the same age), so I think this new VA hits a good sweet spot. Not trying to insult the old ENG VA or the current JNP VA, just...I always personally felt they may have been a little miscast, is all

I was kind of hoping Grant would get to reprise Jin. But WOW does Chris do an amazing job! Chris is such an amazing VA, and been one of my favourites ever since 3 Houses, I’m so glad he’s in the Persona franchise! :D And Tara being back as Elizabeth, it fits her character that she wouldn’t be replaced! I hope she plays Elizabeth more like she did in Arena and Q - a little more funny and ditzy, I know it goes against the themes of P3 but Elizabeth brings the lighthearted moments! If they kept Yuri as Ryoji that would be a nice touch! Yes I know it should be Aleks but it would be an interesting almost 4th break for the English fans.

Imo Derek Stephen Prince does a good villain voice, especially for Takaya. A complete difference from when I heard his dubs in Digimon 02 and Love Hina.

They all rock - both the OG and Reload cast! They all sound so great!!

Been a while since I experienced P3 and was like, “Wait, why does original Jin sound like he’d fight the world that inflicts suffering for entertainment?” AKA, had no idea so much of my favorite V3 VA’s were in Persona 3

I definitely prefer the murderhobo sound of OG Takaya, but I do like all the others. And the few changes like Chidori's are an absolute godsend

All these new ones somehow feels right and that's amazing, love it. Great job Atlus for choosing the right person

Old chidori really captured the emotional distress the character was in.

I'll miss old Ikutsuki...the puns just won't hit the same. (Though his scenes in November are going to be fantastic.)

Despite popular misconceptions Chidori in the original P3 wasn’t voiced by Mona Marshall, she (and Ken) were originally voiced by an actress named Carolyn Hennesy.

Ikutsuki is the only one they changed for the worse imo. Dan Woren did a great job capturing the character's goofiness, they should have just brought him back and he could have done Igor again as well. He still does VA so no clue why they didn't.

I've been a fan of Daman Mills after his recent performances in Genshin as Lyney and Star Rail as Blade. His range is amazing, and I'm so happy he'll feature as revolver jesus too

I think Jin is a lot better than his original and I'm the one that prefers the original cast. Chidori is pretty decent too. But man its weird they didn't replace tara as elizabeth but I ain't complaining. I can't imagine anyone else voicing elizabeth but her.

She was the voice of Mitsuru and Elizabeth in FES so technically speaking Elizabeth still has the same VA.

Both Jin's voices are great, thou i thin i rather the new VA. Chris has so much skill and feeling is incredible. Takaya, i think his old VA was better. I don't really feel as much of the new one. Chidori's new voice, there was so much example of the enw one, it wasn't bad, but i think i still rather Mona's Voice. Same for Ikutski, i liked the old voice.

sorry if I'm late for this I was busy with me so yeah chris hackney: erotic successful voice actor with recent success with dimitri and ayato as well as performing huge range daman mills: how do you say a pretty voice actor with a huge range and I know maybe familiar with them nowadays as blade and lyney but he's also Frieza ( current voice actor) merit leighton: more of a live-action actress say her performances at least decent tara platt: a bit of a legendary voice actress, talented and gifted voice actress. the only one to kind of surprised of her role she's also formerly Mitsuru Kirijo (before Allegra Clark: or Reloaded ask me about her I say Bloodhound is one of them I know she has so many roles) and also be married to to a legendary voice actor and also the go to voice actor for and one of my two favorite Spider-Man voice actors Yuri Lowenthal do you work with each other on several occasions Jack Green: a bit underrated to be honest and I don't have much to say but at least try to make a name for himself set my opinions with you can go back to the previous video if you want my opinions on Aleks Le play the video lazy I'm just going to say he's a rising star and they're pretty fun guy

Like I once said, part of me copes that, if they cast switch is permanent, they finally dub the movies using the old cast as a sort of last hurrah for them. But, I’d prefer they used Chidori’s new VA for said hypothetical dub.

Chris as Jin is good. Daman as Takaya is not good. Derek’s Takaya is so much better in my honest opinion. His aura of pure distain and resentment just *hits* different then Usual evil of the day. Chidori is also a straight upgrade for me.

Well recently it was confirmed that The Answer is going to be released as a DLC so we'll have to wait a bit to see if Sheh was replaced or not

The New VA's are so solid hsving there own twist and yet respecting the original cast and sounding so similar. Time to put another 120+ hours in another solid persona game.

Cant wait for the pc mod to have the old voices back done with AI...except Elizabeth.

Gonna wait for the voice swap mod that i'm sure the fans will provide. The new VAs don't match the ccharacter's essence

Jin is better, although both are great. I prefer Takaya’s OG VA but the new one brings a different angle to it that’s good, too. Chidori is way better - I love how much younger she sounds. If Elizabeth’s VA wasn’t returning, I’d be suing. I can’t hear a difference between the two Pharos, but I think I’m still going to prefer the OG.

Derek Stephen Prince as Takaya did an amazing job, but Damian Mills' portrayal of Takaya blew me away. He sounds different and yet recognizable, and he also knocked it out of the park for the new scenes with Makoto that he had no references for the original. 10/10, second best improvement behind Fuuka, who is just as talented in this game but didn't sound that good in the O.G., so IMO I'm giving the edge to her.
