It's crazy how one gets caught up in watching the very top of the players (say Novak, Nadal) and underrates other athletes. Ruud is a beast, Bublik grass swing was underrated, Paire is memed often but he reached the 18 spot. He was the 18th best on his profession in the world. We don't appreciate the level of athletes and players they are. Good format to get them to know better

Ultimate Interview Showdown. These tennis talks are fabulous. Bublik is hilarious. Ruud warmed up more once he got some food in him. As the interview underscores, drive, focus, competitive spirit, & the ability to handle the pressure is what separates the best players from others in the field. Bublik talked the most, but didn't dominate the proceedings. Good questions asked all round. Keep 'em coming!

low key Bublik is jealous of Casper. Benoit seems to acknowledge caper's accomplishments while Bublik undermines them disguised by joking.

I think you're right. I really like Bublik, but he was giving off a subtle yet noticeably icy vibe to Ruud. Ruud's a nice guy -- disappointed to see Bublik treat him that way.

@@BassByTheBaywell, after their fifth episode with Ruud being the host for conversation with Thiem and ADM I would say Bublik managed the host role slightly better xD with two episodes with Casper at hands I kinda get a feeling that Bublik probably noticed somewhere between the matches and what they now have at the one table how much more talkative Casper is with the more accomplished guys, and with Bublik being already low-key jealous of Casper - he probably took it as Casper acting snobbish. While Casper was probably sitting there perfectly aware how Bublik could be a fucking savage with words and be in his head like: Don't talk over him don't talk over him don't talk over him don't talk over him 😂 but I saw them since that roundtable in Basil being seemingly friendly and having fun (Casper did a tweener over Bublik! xD) so they probably had already cleared their whatever the misunderstandings on each other they might have had here lol
