Sometimes I think i killed Alan Rickman/Snape and all the other actors i have fallen for. It seems like I love them and I am 63 years old! And every man i fall for(usually an actor) dies within the year I fell in love with them. That's why I couldn't have a real boyfriend. I was afraid my love would kill him. In movies they Always die! Always.

It is startling. But then, as a loner type person, kind of not. The sheer talent and forcefulness that Alan Rickman breathed into Severus Snape made this character shine above all others. Kind of a quiet underdog coming in to save the wizarding world from a maniac at his own expense. Tragic but also poetic. I do think Snape should have survived and stayed on as Headmaster. RIP Alan Rickman and Severus Snape.

I think Snape and Alan have bewitched our minds. Millions of us love them both! Snape was voted the most favorite HP character in every poll taken. He had 65% of the votes in at least one poll

Professor Snape (Alan Rickman) and the Headmaster(both Richard Harris and Michael Gambon did an excellent job portraying Dumbledore in their own way) are my favoutite characters in the Harry Potter universe

Snape's story will always be the main plot of the entire series for me. Oh, how incredibly perfect you were Mr. Rickman! The story, combined with the real life sadness of your death is one of the greatest tragedies of our time.
