Wow. This reminded me of how much I miss Bobby. The only person the winchesters could count on for the first seven seasons. And you're right about the season 5 finale, it is physically painful to rewatch. As for why they go all in to prove they are not shifters, well, the Winchesters have always been dramatic 😅 Love the video. Nice job with the captions. Especially for the #1

0:44 Yeah well to be fair, the last time Bobby saw (a conscious) Sam you might remember Sam was actually trying to kill Bobby as part of a spell to make sure he didn't get his soul shoved back into his body. So I don't blame Bobby for being a little awkward with that hug.

the season five finale is simultaneously the best episode in the show and the one I hate the most in the world. that shit HURTED

Isn't he also kinda possessed by a demon in 6 and 7? 4:07 yes! I have been asking myself the same thing.. I mean even touching it should be enough, because his skin is clearly not burning. Edit: I live for your captions and the random zoom ins that makes everything 10 times better 😂

@@bmkubik Idk I think it is a bit dramatic and also I think they cut it up so high because cutting their palms or wrist might make a lot of blood idk!

Theory for why they cut their arms instead of pricking their fingers: it’s easier to bandage their arms and forget about it, versus a cut on a finger is gonna hurt/possibly get infected any time they use that hand. Boom. (haha)

I just wanna quickly point out that although sam did break the last seal, dean broke the first one and there were 64 other seals that were broken by angels and demons during the entire fiasco. dean wasn’t innocent and it makes me really sad that so many people miss that detail and continue to blame sam for all of it when he was 1/66th of the problem :( everyone continuously kept putting all of the blame on him and dean took none of it even though none of this would’ve happened without him. and all of this continued until season 8 :((((

lol I was gonna reply to this comment and say exactly!! And then I rewatched this video and read my commentary and was like ohhh... anyway, you’re right!! It’s not our darling sam’s fault, my comments in the video are just extremely sarcastic. Dean is very rarely a perfectly innocent little angel :)

not only that, ruby manipulated sam during his worst time (aka losing dean) and got him ADDICTED. of course his judgment was skewed, he didn't get help from anywhere, he only got judgment. plus who knew killing lilith would be a bad thing? sam was blinded by him wanting revenge for dean. also the demons AND ANGELS ensured it happened so apocalypse could start. cas is the one who breaks sam out.

Not gonna lie I was expecting John. Then when I saw Bobby I was like, "sweet it'll be both if them." Needless to say you should do the John hugs too.

Honestly it always bothers me that they dont just literally touch the silver, they shouldn't have to even prick or cut themselves at all! They do the utensils or pen check on potential creatures, but when it comes to themselves... "time to slice and dice"
