The best thing is how Cas learns how to hug properly. The first hugs are stiff and awkward, but by season 13 and 14 he knows exactly where to put his hands and even knows the difference between clingy hug (both arm around the back) or casual hug (one arm around the shoulder and the other around the lower back). You can really see how he gets used to hugging and being hugged. Small details like this make me love this show.

Even Charlie and Dean have more hugs. And why is Dean often brushing off poor Cas like he's annoyed from him? Purgatory hug is my favorite. It's the only time Dean looked happy to hug him.

My headcannon is that they've hugged before for sure but only the most poignant hugs which relate to the plot are shown. Just the way we were never shown that they watch movies together, or go on drives and lunch dates together or Dean giving him the mixtape. It's all just said because that's how normal it is to their relationship. They're a whole ass married couple.

This is so cute, he's basically his husband lol. One of my absolute favourite things about the two of them is that Dean called him Cas very shortly after meeting him and he just rolled with it. Also the episode where Cas is referred to as being the angel "the dirty trench coat that's in love with you" was one of my absolute favourite moments of writing on the show ♥️♥️

My number one hug is their second time in Purgatory, when Dean finds Cas after his prayer. Actually 15x09 is my favorite Destiel moment.

Every time dean hugs Cas he always smiles but only when no one can see him, but when Sam was in the room with Dean and Castiel when dean has that tan jacket on he didn't smile, but he left the hand that Sam couldn't see on Castiel's back

You loved season 11 way too much. That moment in purgatory with Deans eyes lighting up finding Cas is hands down the best hug between the 2 of them. Same for your Sam and Dean best hugs videos. Your #2 on that one should easily be #1.

Aw come on, man...So much disrespect for the Sam and Cass love 😆 Sam always gets dissed when it comes to Castiel, but Sam ain't no chopped liver to Cass, I tell ya. Cass loves the shit out of Sam, and would totally die for him. Hell, as early as season 5, Cass is willing to kill Anna to save Sam. But yeah, Dean and Cass do share a more "profound bond." 😃

Fun Fact Benny and Dean Were Technically Dating, As you could see when Everyone tried to Kill Benny Dean acted So different then he usually does. But yeah BUT DESTIEL WINS!! BC LIKE CAN U BLAME ME
