Got to say, with all these weapons I would have thought there would be at least some feeling of “it’s just x but stronger.” But honestly all seemed unique enough (at least as someone watching someone else use them) that there wasn’t that type of feeling.

@@ChicoDaChina not really, no. It's even less like the zenith than violence is like the flying knife, and one could argue it is worse too, being way less powerful in comparison to the stage in progression you get it.

For me, Gruesome Eminence is the coolest weapon in the *WHOLE* calamity mod, and duck yeah I'm maining Gruesome Eminence from now on, like i mean, just imagine a *horrifying shadow serpent* that eats anything on your path, how cool is that?

The metastasis is absolutely amazing. The new sepulcher design is so damn good and the fact that I can now fight with it is just god-tier. Also, the tooltip saying that the Devourer of Gods could become a sepulcher should they continue their quest for power is insanely awesome.

damn calamity is improving, this is the kind of stuff you would see in the spirit mod and split.

Gruesome Eminence seem like a summoner weapon imo, but I can see why the dev decided to make it a mage weapon instead. Weapon that requires holding attack using minion slot sound super tricky.

Neat idea for a multi class. Channels beasts of great power but are incredibly vulnerable in the process. Think of the accessories it'd have. Maybe like an evoker or a conduit.

@@BlightedLight like a warlock, man that would be neat, a Summoner that can sacrifice their minions for more raw magic power or lose health to empower them temporarily, his last tier would summon a bunch of extreamly cute critters that deal no dmg but consuming them give you absurd power and the hate from all the NPCs

I know this is a hard and annoying request, but can you add the stage of the weapon / their source? Sometimes we wanna know which stage we can get these weapon (although idk is all weapon origin is found)

I love how some of the weapons could also attack you, nice new mechanic. I also love the new SCAL themed weapons, which also can attack you

Fun Fact: In this update, you can literally ride Draedon's gaming chair mount.

Damn they really made the effects next level ive never seen something this cool

The gruesome eminence is probably the best weapon put of all its super cool and super good at dealing with large amount of enemies and worms

Idk why but i love the Rancor also it looks way cooler than the prism weapons that also fire a beam

I love the little additions that calamitas related weapons also damage you as if they’re reluctant to be used by you

Photon ripper is just a calamity version of the zennith and I love that.

All of the weapons look super cool! My personal favorites are the rancor, surge driver, the universe splitter and the apotheosis rework. Also keep up the great content, i really like the style of your videos!

My beloved Scarlet Devil was buffed, and now it's clearing off Scal much much faster than it used to be. And i love it :)

Hey man great video, I just gotta ask, is there a showcase for the stealth attacks for the new rogue weapons

gruesome eminence and rancor have probably my favorite looking effects and animations out of any calamity item

These weapons are so sexy looking. The detail is amazing!!!~~~ The Gruesome Eminence, Rancor, Heresy and Metastasis are especially awesome looking. The animations are god tier.

1:54 bottom left Giygas is visible in the Gruesome Eminence pattern

These are really sick. They're visually incredible and the effects are stunning, although I'm a bit alarmed by the fact that a lot of them are self-damaging. Also, I wish they'd fix the sprite positioning on ranged weapons; it's just kind of bizarre.

That's the specifics of SCal's weapons: one cannot use the great power without facing some concequences.

I love the idea that some of these summons aren't fully under player control as they will actually try to kill you, implying that they still have some level of their own sentience and will

I feel like it would be funny if the apotheosis Makes a few remarks towards the player upon its first summoning

with the right gear I was able to get rancor to deal around 25000000 DPS, though I was using soul of eternity and other stuff from Fargo's mod

It should also be worth noting that the Scarlet Devil got a big rework that makes it even better than before

With summoner being my favorite class I'm glad to see that they got the coolest weapons in the new update. I still prefer the thorium experience tho lol.

I thought of the idea of Apotheosis getting a rework to just summon a full size DoG, and now seeing it in actuality feels even cooler than how I imagined

I literally drew something very, very similar to the surge driver in a notebook and it even fired the same as I didn't know that the calamity mod existed

some of these visual effects are absolutely bussin i love it along with the names WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO HAVE A LITERAL JAVELIN NAMED "VIOLENCE" THAT'S BADASS

I like how they added summoning weapons which summon minions that can damage you. Seems like a challenge.

I like how Summoner is actually expanded upon as like... This strange magick, rather than just a class, with the addition of some summons actually being able to outright *attack you* . Like, this isn't just a controller class now, summoning's about creating monsters to fight for you, but even then, they're still monsters of chaos and destruction; to the point where, even if you put them under your control, not even *you* can stop their tendencies.

Photon Ripper looks like an upgraded Zenith with the way it attacks

the deathstare rod is really good from early game until early hardmode

Calamity treats summoner very well

"The cannon starts firing comets at the rate of its use time." Ah yes nice to see the cannon firing shots per use

Grusome eminence and rancor are my favorites just because how fun they are

I'm hoping the items that also damages the player will have an upgrade to it so that we can actually have full control for it, like the brimstone item i forgot whats it called that is a cursed item, but the next upgrade was no longer cursed

Nice, if the enemies decimating my health bar wasn't enough, now I can look forward to my own magic doing it instead - curious whether they made unique death messages if you die to the effects of one of those weapons
