Equipped with an array of sensors on its wheels and roof, this test vehicle is a moving laboratory. These sensors are gathering critical data for Volkswagen's development team, who will use this information to fine-tune various components, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Although the T-Roc prototype is still under wraps, it carries the promise of a significant redesign. At first glance, it may appear to blend elements of its predecessor with contemporary Volkswagen design cues, but there is much more beneath that camouflage. A new grille lies hidden, ready to be unveiled.*
The headlamps have evolved into a teardrop shape, elongated to provide a sharper and more dynamic look. Complementing these are the redesigned air intake and side vents, which lend the front bumper a more mature and refined appearance.
Notice how the new hood extends further back, giving the front a more streamlined profile. At the rear, the bumper design has been cleaned up for a sleeker look. This evolution continues with a more upright tailgate, hinting at an improved cargo area behind the seats.
