I'm glad to see someone review the Tacoma that looks at it from a neutral standpoint. So many people are giving this truck glowing reviews when yeah, it looks nice but Toyota definitely did not deliver $50K worth of value in it. For that much money people expect more than just a hard plastic interior truck. I see this one was $44K but it looks very similar to the ones that are around 50. It's hard to haul sheet goods in the bed as well with it being so narrow. Its seems like they focused on looks and that's it.

I know it serves little purpose but id like an engine cover. First thing id do is take off the chin strap. I have not been in one yet but heard it rides great, great power and looks. The trade off is the crappy feel to the interior compared to the previous gen.

I have heard and driven the TRD Offroad which does ride better because of the softer off road shocks and spring rates.

I have a Maverick hybrid XLT, is a decent small truck for what it costs, but for 18k$ more for the same compared trim on Tacoma and still having similar materials I think is not worth it. I like this 4Gen, but the engine sound is making me stop buying it.

Never been a fan of the Tacoma, I don't think it's a bad truck performance or reliability wise. But Never really liked the look of it and really dislike the ride position, feels more like you are sitting in a car then a truck and that bugs me. Just feels wrong. Much rather get a new Ranger for that size of vehicle.

I have had my share of trucks from the big 3. Admittedly I did not have any problems with any of them but took a beating when trading them in. I bought a Tacoma in 2012 and never looked back. On my 3rd one now. Nothing but oil changes and up to this point have gotten my money back on trade ins, well almost. I own a Wrangler too.......the most fun piece of junk I've ever owned but again has great resale. Everyone wants a Jeep until they get one. Tacomas don't fo anything great but do everything just good enough.

No it is not sadly but the vehicle I do have coming has yet to be built which it should be scheduled sometime in May

The SR is the base! Besides the TRD Sport/Offroad pretty much have the same lackluster interior

It's hideous. Looks like the AutoZone performance aisle assimilated the front end.
