I love the audio that you hear in the neo geo games, they literally feel like games. MVS/AES is the pinnacle of what a 16bit game should be.

Nintendo had their "Seal of Quality", but the real seal of quality was the Neo Geo marquee. They were pretty much guaranteed top quality games. Worst case scenario it'd be a "just ok" puzzler or generic (but still solid) SF2-alike, but most of the time they'd be among the very best games in any arcade. My personal favorites are the oddballs people don't necessarily think of when they think Neo Geo, like Windjammers, Super Dodge Ball, Shock Troopers 2, Matrimelee, and Sengoku 3. Their seal of quality was real as well, Nintendo rarely slapped that sticker on something that sucked, you can't just base the whole thing on arcade perfect, there's more to a game than that.

Love football frenzy,street fighter,monopoly,f1 racing & so on.Really Nostalgic ❤

Neo #1, such superb games in their library. I am amazed how many fighters they had at the time. Galaxy fight one of my favourites. Had a blast playing that. Definitely revisiting a lot of their games.

Metal Slug will always be my favorite SNK franchise.

One person had it that my friends and I knew about back in the early 90’s, and he really did own one. It was amazing to see in person, and we all lusted after owning our own Neo-Geo consoles. That system must have been the rarest one to exist in the wild. I cannot recall a single store that sold it or the games.

The biggest reason for the end of production is "copying problems such as pirated editions and emulators".

Fatal fury 3 is still my go to fighting game.

I love Neo Geo and I Always wanted a neo Geo arcade cabinet. Neo Geo was way ahead of it's time and was the first arcade cabinet to play multiple games. We had 3 or more games to choose from which consists of great hits such as metal slug and puzzle bobble and King Of Fighters etc.. i wonder how much the machines cost?

Fatal Fury King of Fighters Metal Slug and Samurai Showdown are the best games SNK ever made for the Neo Geo

I have a pandoras box with most of these games, I just wish I had an old crt to play alot of them on as I fell the flat screen stretches thinks out of proportion

They got Fatal Fury 3 and Fatal Fury Special mixed up.

can someone help me to find retro game, I can't remember the title but i know that some of strategy games, with hexagonal map and have 4 kingdom with different king colors, every king had some golems, and their army (one of them is phoenix who can heal her self every turn)

Looking for a game from this era. I was too young to read the title, but it was a 2D platform game, about little elves or pixies, and they ran through the jungle and sea shooting with a crazy arrangement of weapons. If anyone knows the name, it would be much appreciated.

The look of the last blade and 2 is gorgeous, the way I see it, Dragon Ball Z for samurai showdown and Howl's moving castle for last blade. Don't get me wrong I love them both.

Creo que el video esta mal. Min 12:50 es el juego Fatal Fury Special y el juego del min 13:19 pertenece al Fatal Fury 3. Lo se por la pantalla de juego que los tres primeros FF tenian la misma barra de vida mientras que a partir del FF3 se diseño por completo las barras de vida.
