87 88 is probably one of the best lineups of all time

People forget how great some of these players like Mark Price, Gilbert Arenas, Kevin Johnson etc... were in their primes. Lot of a great players on this list that didn't make the hall of fame.

Man that 1987-88 all-nba first team can compete against anybody. Magic, Mike, Larry, Chuck and Hakeem smh, they're a sure 🔥 🔥

Miller was leading his team to 7-game series against Ewing, Starks, Mason, Oakley, Harper Knicks, Shaq, Penny and Grant Magic, Jordan, Pippen and Rodman Bulls. Miller's Pacers also went six games with Shaq, Kobe and Rice Lakers, while missing a key player. Miller was outplaying Pippen, Kobe and Iverson in the Playoffs. Comparing Klay to Miller is insane, and Miller was an above average defender. Jimmy Butler is a lesser Pippen, No one would pick a Pippen led team to be a possible contend in the 90s.

@takuanfuan7 You mentioned the 1994 Knicks. The 1994 Knicks had a better net rating than most teams in NBA history. And they has a top 10 defense ever at 8.1 points better than league average. The last time and NBA defense was even over 8 points was the 2008 Celtics. No team from 2009 to 2023 had that. An NBA team isn’t 1 on 1 or even 3 on 3. It’s about the team, which includes 5 starters and a bench. With coaching. There could be 1 superstar but good solid players and depth and the teams a contending team. And no Reggie miller is easily better than klay Thompson. Reggie can anchor an elite offense, klay can’t. Because Reggie can create his own shot far better and has far more gravity. Also, klay’s an overrated defender. Why the 1998 pacers (and 1999, 2000) were so good was because they were a good team on both ends. They had a good offense and defense. In fact, their defense was better than their offense, showing that it was more than just miller. They had a good roster. Larry bird was a good coach with a good system. There’s more depth than just comparing the two best players on the team with each other.

I think 1972-73 First team was wrong? 73 Season MVP was Dave Cowens but he on 2nd Team and KAJ#33 was on the Center Spot? Me correct Wrong KAJ MVP was on 1974? (1971,72,74,76,77 & 80)

I've never heard of Gene Shue, Larry Costello, Dave Bing, Archie Clark, Phil Chenier, Randy Smith, Phil Smith, Walter Davis, Maurice Lucas, Phil Ford, Dan Roundfield, Otis Birdsong, Vin Baker, Rod Strickland, Antonio McDyess, and Jamal Mashburn, as well as the majority of the ABA players
