Agreed, it was heavily foreshadowed though, Natasha is the first to ask Nebula about Vormir, and of course her and Clint's trajectory to the planet. Thankfully I caught it enough to shut down so I wouldn't sob like a child in the release. That's the master scripting of Marvel Studios, even though Natasha is dead her legacy of course lives on as the Black Widow's, there's plenty potential for past and future installments as the franchise still needs a higher echelon aspect of spy thriller and suspense for Earth's events. The Black Widow program is clearly being setup as a innovative deterrence in the MCU similarly to the Super Soldier serum. *late edit 9/7* Go ScarJo for calling out Disney's breach of the Black Widow film. While an amicable departure on Johannson's behalf, and a stoic response in lawsuit, this still somehow feels less of a goodbye, and more of a "see you later", as Feigie and Faveure, including Johansson herself have all pronounced their respect for each other numerously through the years. Though gone, Marvel will never let the original Widow be forgotten, still innovatively being recreated recently in What If E3, brilliantly enhancing the original outlines of the *Scarlet* Spy in her Iron Man 2 debut, even being involved in Bruce's first outing, still meaning their bond is infinite. She'll always be a staple of the universe, it is an unchanged point in time in there's and here. Thank you Scarlett for your authenticity in a less than genuine time.

i mean, the character got also better written with time, in iron man 2 she could do much because her character in that movie is pretty meh (i mean her writing), in avengers she was sexualised, becuase of the director, but it has iconic scenes, and the winter soldier was probably my favorite appeareance of her: sassy, funny, flirty but also smart, good fights and very human, and after that her character just started to get better and better, and that is also thanks to scarlett because she is an incredible actres

@@bable6314 If you can't tell the difference between sexualization and sexiness, you shouldn't be throwing around heavy accusations. There's one key aspect that separates the two: depth. If a character serves no other purpose than eye candy for the audience (camera angles and unnecessary scenes, e.g. camera-focused undressing in the car, cleavage shots, etc), they are sexualized. If their sexiness is part of their character and is used to deliver charm and drive the plot, that's just a sexy character. She had no unnecessary and exploitative sexy scenes in the Winter Soldier. When she lifted up the shirt, it was to reveal a hideous scar dealt by the legendary Winter Soldier; when she kissed Steve, it was to demonstrate her expertise in espionage and counter-surveillance; when she was having a heart-to-heart with Steve after they've showered at Falcon's house, it was furthering their friendship and camaraderie. None had "complimentary" camera angles that would exploit her figure. Don't confuse your boner for poor writing.

My god, this scene pack really made me realize how much I truly do love Natasha, it's mainly due to Scarlett Johansson's incredible acting, but I've always loved how sassy she is, at times! & As of the time of me typing this comment in, (were I am, anyway) Black Widow's very own solo film, releases in cinemas, this morning! Finally! I don't know when I'll be seeing it, exactly, but I imagine it will be soon! After all these years, it's about time she got her own solo film, & I imagine we'll be seeing a bunch more of her kicking ass, as usual, which is just the kind of thing I've been missing from the cinemas, for a while now! A bit of Black Widow style action, experienced in the cinemas! I am also hyped, to see what kind of fight Taskmaster puts up against Natasha, in the film! Anyways, all I have left to say, really, is Thanks for this absolute brilliance!

That would completely fuck up the storyline and contradict a large chunk of what marvel has built up until now. Edit: I never said it wasn’t possible, I just think that this concept is so broken and has too many plot holes to actually be implemented into the movie series.

God I miss and love her.... soft sometimes but yet still a badass....IM'A CRY.

I love that she says “ thank you for your cooperation” after she gets what she wants.

I love that you can tell how much more character and motivation she gains throughout all the movies. She starts as just a sexy assistant to flirt with Tony, and turns into a strong and courageous warrior that sacrificed herself for the world. Marvel really out did themselves with her character arc.

Scarlett Johansson is one of the sexiest women alive. I can’t picture anyone else but here as Natasha Romanoff. She was born for this role.

It's incredibly difficult for me to comprehend how this great actress and character only has a mere 40 minutes of screen time, in a 27-movie franchise. She is just such an important part of this great story, that she deserves at least one full movies length of Screen time (excluding the Black Widow movie). She is such an iconic and great character. No matter how little time she may have in this franchise, she will always be my favorite female character in any cinematic work ever produced. 100% with you, she should've had her own trilogy by now. And also tbh they could've sacrificed some of the main dudes' moments and give her at least a little over an hour of screentime in the entire franchise. She plays a pretty major role in saving the universe in the end AND she basically proves herself to be the real beating heart of the Avengers throughout all of those movies. She deserves all the recognition.

Even if Natasha's death is memorable and one of the most crucial part in MCU at least people after endgame give credit to her. Like after watching The post Endgame Series/movies there are no credit for her sacrificial death to get that freaking soul stone except those Post-credit scene from Black widow.

this is probably the best natasha scene pack ever every movie every appearance the best!

saddest thing is her character ranked high in characters that appeared the most throughout MCU phase 1-3, and she had the most screentime out of all the characters that didn't have a solo movie (phase 1-3). miss girl had to fight for scraps. had to literally crawl for new characters like Yelena and Kate to get loads of screentime off the bat

watching this is realized how much poor Scarlet was seggualized during MCU. I feel so bad for her, it she handled it like a badass.

Seeing her scenes with Clint again got me thinking. I can understand why they would scrap Tony from having a Cameo in the Black Widow movie. But considering it was about her family, it was a bit insulting that Clint wasn't there. You know they guy who was basically the closes person to her.
