    The reason that the answer works in that secret puzzle at the start is because if you look closely, the islands’s answers at the tutorial look like the islands. The island looks exactly like the secret puzzle’s answer.

    I bought this game when the first video came out cause I was interested in a witness like game without paying $60 (the game was also on sale so I had to buy it then). I really like this game, but it really makes me feel so dumb LOL. Some of these puzzles are crazy as I would have never figured some of these out without looking them up, but even then IDK how they arrived at that solution. For example, you literally got the tall blue pillar puzzle solution yet I still don't really know how you got that. Either way, I still love the series, can't wait for the finale!

    For that one, you basically have to notice that the one in the water and the one in the ruins are showing different parts of it (the one in the water has the bottom portions of it covered in water) so you basically solve it as if the one in the water is supposed to be connected to the one that isn't.

  • @doomse150

    @doomse150

    Жыл бұрын

    The one on land has it's top broken off, so you only see the bottom part of it, where the bumps in the side denote marked squares. The pillar in the water has its bottom covered, so you only get the top part, and the bumps there denote unmarked squares on the land pillar (complement rule of the area). Once you have that information, you can stack these parts on top off each other and get the full solution, because there is no alignment to overlap them without producing contradictions. In theory they could be offset by a significant number of tiles, but thankfully the most natural lineup, with no extra "padding" introducing uncertainty, is the correct solution.

    So, if you look through the whole beginning area, you will notice that there is always not just a block clue but also an environment clue. For that first puzzle, the block and environment clue are different, and both solve it. It has a black upside-down L, leaving the middle-left and bottom-left white, as the shape of the island that you moved- which is why that solution worked.

    Since the other replies seem confusing- The piece of land that the panel was able to move was in the shape a darkened, upside-down L. Given it was dark, you draw the two tiles NOT part of that upside down L to draw the piece of land itself, which is the solution. kinda surprised he brute forced that considering how many other puzzles he solved easily that I was dumbfounded by

    You solved the Puzzles of Pullyapantsup. You can do ANYTHING. Just like Lenny Loosejocks. ...God that takes me back. Lenny Loosejocks Goes Walkabout. (Have you ever played it, Aliensrock?) Solving that was... Oh man, it's been so long I can't actually remember... I know I did it because the internet wasn't really a thing for me back then. More for school work I had to do if anything. I can only really remember the lines from the driving challenge. "Let's goooo popping" and "Oh no, the 'Ute's buggered. Let's go, Donga". I heard those lines a lot as I recall. I played that game over a couple years before I beat it. Now I've forgotten so much... We only had one computer in the house so I had to ask to install it, and turn it off if my parents needed the computer... Heck, I went to the Library to look up puzzle solving in my quest to solve the puzzles of Pullyapantsup. But what did I go through with the puzzles? I just can't remember... Oh, jeez. I went looking for a Wiki page for the game. It doesn't have one, but It's been re-released last year (2021) on Steam. If you haven't played it before, try it out. I might just end up getting it myself.
