The problem is more complex than you might think. Sadhguru says that sexuality, what you do with your body is "private affair". I agree. However, the question needs to be explored further. If you are a man and you are walking down the street wearing makeup and dressed as a woman, and a group of people beat you up, there is a problem. If you're a black man and you're walking down the street dressed as a man and another person yells "monkey" at you and hits you, there's a problem. From the objective and, if we want to say it, spiritual point of view (i.e. of an enlightened mind), the two problems have the same root, the same origin. Call it lack of awareness, or stupidity, or whatever you want, but the origin is the same. Creating movements that defend certain categories of people and publicize their rights is wrong because the approach is wrong. The freedom to move, to express oneself, to not be beaten must belong to everyone. The law should intervene to defend the individual as such. People are falling into the trap of politicians funding certain movements just to gain power and the media is playing the same game. A child who says he's gay at 10 years old clearly has a problem. How can he feel gay if at that age he doesn't know what sexuality is and perhaps not even how to carry out natural procreation? Do you know what the purpose of creating so many different groups is? It serves to divide us! To pit us against each other. And they're doing it well. When two people interface, they owe each other due respect, regardless of their religious beliefs, sexual orientation, geographical origin, social status or type of work they do. If we think as governments want, we would have a law against homophobia, one against "fat-phobia", one against "Afro-phobia", one against poor-phobia, one against homeless-phobia, and so on ... No one should hit another human being, no one should ridicule another human being, no one should discriminate against another human being, no one must base their judgment or use of a service, or job evaluation on the basis of elements extraneous to the context in which they apply. We must all be free. Being free means not being influenced by the words of politicians and newspapers, it means stripping ourselves of the ideas and categorizations given by society and seeing ourselves naked as we would be if organized civilizations had not existed. Free is he who sees the spiritual essence of a living being and not the appearance, sees equality and freedom.

@@nikhitaramakrishnan3776 I'm italian, I speak and I understand english language, but I'm not a native English speaker. I apologize if I expressed bad what I would to communicate.🙏 Of course I can answer you all of your questions. In my first example I was talking about a gay person, to make it clear I spoke of "a man dressed as a woman" only because he is flashy given that there are many male homosexual people who do not dress as women, and therefore do not show their sexuality, coming ignored by homophobes only because they do not see their sexuality. In the second example I wrote "black man dressed as a man" because I wanted to talk about racism and not homophobia. We can see a gay black man and a non-gay black man: a homophobic racist would hit both, while a racist man who hates black people more than gays would hit for the color of his skin, whether this person is gay or not gay. I used male as an example because a gay male is more flamboyant than a lesbian woman. If my explanation is still not clear, no problem, just ask, I will try to explain better.

Sadhguru is so right. I have a lot of friends who are affected by propaganda, confused and then coming back to the realisation that it wasn’t in them all along. I was always cheering for it because it is made fun for teenagers, but in the end, after coming to spirituality I have started looking from afar and have realised how political it is at the moment and how it have affected me in a bad way. I’m grateful to understand now that it’s everyone’s personal business and that we shouldn’t dive too much into it and both judge and influence people’s choices.

People are made like this by nature. Some people are exclusively into it and some are partially into it. No one can deny that they have combination of feminine and masculine. Can say one is dominant over other ( cisgender straight men and women) but it can't be totally true as feminine nature and masculine nature can also coexist in same human body without suppressing the other nature (LGBTQ)

"If you are a heterosexual, you don't go about talking it on the street." - > I don't know how it is in India but over here I've seen people throw public parties about getting married disturbing a whole neighborhood, men loudly discuss the sex escapades they have had with women with their buddies in bars, parks, cafes, public transport and many other places. There is also advertisements, banners and so forth tailored for couples almost everywhere. I deeply cherish and value Sadhguru's wisdom but this isn't the reality. Ideally everyone would just mind their own business and not get involved in other people's business, however that is also not a reality. Even if publicization is avoided, in some places you might still get killed just because someone decided that you were publicizing something when you weren't even involved in it. Freedom is freedom. As long as someone dictates what you have to do to earn your freedom and defines what freedom is, that immediately isn't freedom, its expanded privileges. People go awry in more cases than not when you try to squash their original expression or when they try to chase after some "ideal' of freedom created by their peers and society. Our core nature is divine and we inhabit vessels on this earth. All this fascination with who is what and who is fucking who and if they are the same biological sex, is so irrelevant. Do you doubt the divine nature of things so much that you can't recognize all peoples as an expression of the divine just as they are? Stifling them or trying to alter them or even if they themselves stifle their free expression chasing some ideal, is this not an interference and harm against the divine natural process? There are more relevant and important things going on right now in society for us to handle us a species than still be stifling each other and ourselves like this. Wake up, the world's on fire! Let people marry and be happy or die with their freedom if it so happens. Let's focus on the pressing concerns...

Imo the problem is that we focus on minorities when in fact in these same places you could get killed for a lot of other things too. So we should instead focus on a whole picture. Like raising values of people’s lives, respect to others people choices, holy meaning of love, etc.

@@dariazhempalukh When the Way is lost, there is goodness. When goodness is lost, there is morality, When morality is lost, there is ritual. Ritual is the husk of true faith, the beginning of chaos. Throw away holiness and wisdom, and people will be a hundred times happier. Throw away morality and justice, and people will do the right thing. Throw away industry and profit, and there won’t be any thieves. It is only when certain virtues are extoled that people begin to judge and try to raise themselves up to their level. The human experience isn't recognized for what it is and people live according to a thousand man-made laws and virtues. But nature does not have these laws or virtues. Nature flows and expresses itself without reservation. Sometimes it is the saints, gurus and spiritual authorities that muddle things and cause such issues.

Hes saying that religions have a reasons why they try to set rules for sexual life because they are based on some spiritual truth gained with experience, in other videos he talks about body memories, how sexual interaction actually goes much deeper than what we may think, confuses the etheric bodies and all that comes with it, how it hinders or harm spiritual progress and sinks us to lower states of conciousness keeping us enslaved to our animal nature. This is in existential terms a "crime" against depeest human nature which seeks to expand beyond its limitations. Hes not speaking clearly because of the level of depth and commitment of the audience. These are the real implications of casual sex and how publicity of sexual behaviour actually encourages people to engage in sexual activity far more than necessary. This is not just for homosexual but for sex in general. This not only impacts individuals but harms humanity at large like anything we do, think or speak really, sending waves into the etheric fields of the earth. Not to talk of the tantric aspects of sexuality, of polarities male/female. I remember reading from a master alchemist of the european Rosicrucian tradition (basically the western Yoga Tantra counterpart) how actually human beings immoral behaviour harms the earth and generate earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and natural disasters, because we act immoral w3le alter the polarities and the balance of nature. All the beauty out there in nature and in the cosmos is because of the harmony and balancing of polarities. Human beings of course play their in keeping this balance, that is what it means to be spiritual, to consciously align oneself with the larger self-cosmos and with the harmony that pervades the cosmos. it goes really much deeper than what we are lead to believe, people need to start to wake up to the very real presence of a spiritual world in our midst in a concrete way, and of how certain spiritual beings and their human servers are behind all types of cutural/political movements and upheavals with very specific aims in mind. But of course sadhguru is a world-wide guru and cannot speak freely about these things, he needs to be diplomatic about whatever he says.

Frankly, this is a very paternalistic approach, exactly what is not welcome in the West. You cannot reduce 'freedom' to something 'private'. It seems to me that Sadhguru is trying his best to adapt his position to modernity, but he is not, in any way, willing to recognize the freedom of diverse people. He simply reduces them to the specific 'minority' he mentions, treating them as something to tolerate but not publicise. I agree that sexuality is not something someone should necessarily publicise, but the tone Sadhguru uses, instructing young people on the supposedly 'right' behaviour, suggests he believes he knows best without acknowledging the difficulties a gay person can face. This attitude implies, "Okay, you exist, but I don't particularly like you because you are not here to reproduce as heterosexuals do. So, yes, I tolerate you, but don't make much fuss about yourselves." Sadhguru, maybe you can still do that in India-I hope not, but it seems they are listening to you-but in the Western world, that's not well accepted at all. And let's make it clear: I am not here to say that the explosion of the LGBTQ movement is 'necessarily' a good thing, frankly not at all, especially when you look at many alarming situations. However, I sincerely hope for better leadership in India as well, instead of this paternalistic, "I know better than you because of who I am (whatever I am... older, spiritual, wise, knowledgeable)." I hope India deserves something better than a new guru imposing his divine wisdom on young people! I hope that at least some of you young Indians think the same.
