+milwaukeegregg Yes, either they blew the engine or the body rotted away- ALL those old cars were rust buckets naturally depending on where they came from but you would get a 9 second car for 1500.00. Only Jenkins was running them times and that was in his Vega- Does hook up very well, sounds like a turbo 400?? That's a SICK motor there. I knew a guy who had a 427 L-88 Camaro non original and he was running about 11 flat in the early 70's. Remember when the gas shortage hit in 74/75, couldn't give those cars away

Is that called self hate couse they sound dumb hating on there own family tree late modal motors and cars I'm a late modal baby but love the old school Chevy motors the root of were it all begun but its like this. Gm make new technology an motors to compete with dodge an Ford ect anyone so stubborn of self hate will be left in the past an will get out run by a 4 door boat car with ac heat an the wife can drive to the grocery store with no issues an still go to local track an run some 9.70s -9.80s all day . It's full big factory cars that pushing 600 700 hp out the show rm floor so I say this they can be stubborn or self hate there own brand all they want. But they will be the same ones that get gap by a 4600 pound 4 door fully ac heat comfortable leather seats boat of a car. An yall know the car an witch American big 3 Gm Ford dodge maker I'm talking bout with out me saying the car name an witch big 3 makes it. I have a 468 BBC. On my run stand right now...I'm thinking of stroking it to a 496.... Or I might sell it...if anyone is interested it is running . 400- 425 hp as it sets....fresh rebuild...only 500 miles on it... Southern Mississippi.....I bought for a spare for my 78 GrandLeMans half baked big tire car..has a 360 sbc 550 hp in it....may sell together..car runs 7:11 in the 1/8 as it sets...will run better I'm sure,,I baby it pretty much..shift at 6,000.. has 7,500 rpm cam in it..that motor was just gone through less then 15 passes on it..car has about 200-300 passes on it all together..ready to race..pro street 78 GrandLeMans half baked big tire car...clean no rust or rust repair..car had 5,800 miles on it when built 8 year's ago....I have owned it for the last 6 years....set up for bracket racing..delay box..2 step timming control box,,,,2 kits of nitrous...will and has run low 6 s on a 125 shot......built turbo 400 reverse manual valve body.3,800 stall nitrous converter.. Cheetah shifter. Full cage....very nice clean car.....no cheap parts ..all the good stuff.....sits on 31x18.5-15... qa1 shocks....all steel..all glass...3,400 lbs ..w/ driver....make offer if interested....I stopped racing a few years ago...car is indoor kept..... She's nice guy's....no bullshit....i just don't use it anymore....well maybe a fun run now and then.....not hurting for money.....so if the price is right..she could be yours...thanks for reading... again drop a comment if interested... thanks..Don.....

Do sprayed and other forced induction motors still run without their full motor? Do they suddenly drop to half the motor during boost.?
