Before the symbiote, Peter isn’t exactly “ignoring” Miles, he’s just very busy catching up with Harry and Miles was getting a little jealous of that, as he admits in the final fight against Venom. What made it worse though is also that this happened while Miles was feeling insecure about his prospects for the future, and was scared of being left behind by those he cares about.

It was intentional. Peter just got his best friend, wasn’t gonna lose him again and almost lost himself in the process.

Yeah, hes not "ignoring/replacing" miles. His best friend for *literally his entire childhood* just came back from being gone with no contact for like 2 years with a horrible illness they only heard about after about a year of him missing, and theyre only like that for a couple of days, half of which are spent with a mind altering symbiote. Y'all need healthier friendships.

Harry is actually a pretty good guy in this. -Opens a foundation for making the world a better place the MINUTE he gets out of the tank -Saved Spider-Man before he knew it was Peter -Put in an effort to HELP Peter -Even tried to help Miles when he didn't even have the suit -When he realizes the symbiote is dangerous, he is willing to DIE to destroy it Keep in mind, he didn't know the symbiote was alive, or an alien. He thought Peter was just being an a-hole.

Miles is easily my favourite character in this game, such a mood and great personality and never faltered in these dire circumstances. Such a G

Meanwhile, as the whole story was Peter ignoring Miles, Saving Harry, Saving himself, etc. Its really funny to see it laid out like this and people still feel like it was so Miles Centric, when his arc was in the background and was partially used to service Peter's arc. They're brothers in this man, its no replacing.

Miles did not need him all of the time. Literally his own game was handling everything by himself and he spends a good chunk of this game handling his own problems while Peter was dealing with his own.

I really wasn’t a fan of this “jealousy” arc. Harry “went to Europe” for ten years and Peter wants to reconnect with him. Especially after learning the real reason for his absence. This isn’t Peter ignoring Miles, it’s Peter wanting to reconnect with his friend who he thought was dead

I feel like y’all don’t understand peters side man his friend was basically GONE and randomly came back of course he’s gonna want to spend time with him also I think this isn’t just a Peter problem but a WRITING flaw in the storyline for some reason in Spider-Man two they wanted to try and differentiate both Peter and miles storyline being Peter got more of the main story and we mostly see miles just trying to bag his girl or do some pointless side quests then tried to pull that all together in the end which did it work kinda the issue is it would have been a LOT more helpful if they did two things 1 Peter could have simply just told miles what was going on so miles would have a better understanding 2 they could have just made it so they interacted so miles himself had some understanding communication wise yes it is still Peter’s fault but one of the primary points of the game is Peter not being able to balance his own life and being Spider-Man and all and when does miles usually need peters help as SPIDER-MAN.

This definitely wasn't ignoring and replacing. They showed us that Peter was actually doing things and wasn't just blowing Miles off to play hooky with Harry. Plus, Miles was definitely just a bit too clingy. He went from barely calling Peter and not wanting him to come home from Symkaria to help with Roxxon to blowing up his line for every little thing.

Peter was a very shitty friend to Miles after Harry showed up; and Miles so didn’t deserve that

Honestly tho I think Miles kinda sorta deserved to be treated like trash and for Peter to show more favouritism and attention to Harry I mean come on the facts are Miles as cool As he is and as good a character he is literally NOTHING will shake the fact that Miles has literally stolen everything from Peter and is overshadowing him and outclassing him in everything and even stole his hero mantle. I think Peter was entirely justified in spending more time With Harry his best bro. That’s what I loved about Spiderman 2 it showed to us that Miles isn’t Peter’s no1 priority.

Honestly, the game would be better without Miles. The devs want to push him so hard, but they can't make him compelling neither have a compelling arc

They could’ve yad an interesting dynamin eith the fact that the both of them lost one of their parent. The whole stuff about harry and miles being subconsciously insecure about stealing pete from one another could also have been waay more developed during the story.
