@@Xaeram I think my favorite, aside from the main theme, is Extinction. It has this very depressed and fearful vibe, until at the end it transforms into the most hopeful Ark theme of all.

@@Mephilis78 I feel that genesis 2 was written perfectly. Gareth used so many Futuristic and distorted sounds and instruments, making it feel like what it’s meant to be. And he even made it in the same Minor as the original theme. In the end of the song it’s this Conclusion of all themes together. For we stand before what could be the end. Or the Future. Then that drop with the aberration choir, it’s so beautiful. It really adds that *this is the end.*

@@hoaibaovo1486 Gareth clearly thought that was supposed to be the grand finale of the whole game. I'm glad we got the Genesis expansions, but I'm also sad that the Extinction suite kind of looses some of it's majesty as a finale.

Man every time i hear the Aberration Theme, what a track! and what an amazing expansion.

Watching this in preparation for ASA. I wonder if it's even possible and if it is, how will Gareth go past the incredibly high bar that he has already set for his music. It is some of the best video game music I have ever heard. It is up there with all the greats: Halo, Skyrim, Hollow Knight.

Coker did the OST for Halo Infinite. He is definitely extremely talented, he was the closest to resembling Marty and Salvatori. "Know my Legend" and "Endless" are great examples of his work. "Endless" has that flood vibe he was able to replicate. If I want anyone on board for Halo, it would definitely be Coker.

Yesterday I watched a 2-hour video, explaining Ark's story. And, combined with these soundtracks, it fills me with determination to finish it all, at least once. It just feels different now. When I was playing before, I didn't manage to reach any of the bosses in singleplayer. To me it was just a survival game with dinosaurs. But now there's a purpose.

As much as I love the og Island ost. Abberation's theme just hits differently. It gives such a strong sense of adventure, mystery and unknown.

I love ark My only problems are on my ps5 its loves to crash (almost Everytime i exit a world it crashes so i have to use commands to spam the save command to make sure nothing is lost) And i have no one to play with for a better experience Yeah i have my playstation friends but barely any have ark And then my close discord friends dont even have a playstation So yeah i like ark but wish i could have a better experience

Its kinda dumb how their shutting down official servers we ended up destroying all our dinos and they extended the shutdown this game is pretty fun it did get abit boring when you had all sinos and a big base but I have some good memories of it I will miss it alot
