It really is. Four or five years ago, this comparison would have been preposterous, but Mafex has kept improving, and SHF has been happy to just coast off their reputation.

@@tomfin-wo5vc Exactly. SHF's been moving backwards. They may be fast, but that speed comes at a cost. Mafex is proving that slow and steady wins the race (just wish they were a liiittle bit faster tho haha).

I think mafex keep delaying their release to the point they forgot a few numbers but they say whatever people will not Pay attention to the number just the delay 😂

Hello from Australia, long time fan. I'm a bit late to the Mafex party, but am confused with regard to the Mafex Iron Man Mk85 (Endgame, clean suit). Was this released as Mafex No.136 or only as No.140 ? I tracked down your video, and it shows a blank at No.140. Did Mafex Re-Number No.136 (Iron Man Mk85) to become No.140 and thern bypass No.136 ? Appreciate any knowledge you have, thanks.

After reading your msg, I just realised my mark 85 box is stating 140 too… lol.. But the funny thing is, when I googled it, they show 136 as mark 85 and nothing on 140… and I can’t find any pic of the mark 85 box which stated 136.. weird.. thanks for sharing!

That Olaf figure has been absolutely hidden. It’s so obscure that I might just get it.

@@DCSG81 Don't please. I own all 4 Japanese Alien figures as it is one of my all-time favorite movies. The Mafex is terrible quality. The SHF is inaccurate. The Revoltech is way too small. The Figma is a stylised version, but is easily the best. Just be careful of the weak joint in the tail. Mine broke. 🙁

Realization: Mafex cant make big guy figures, the biggest guy in this wave is hulkbuster... idk why they cant reproduce hulks, thanos, juggernaut from deadpool 2, colossus, and other more big size characters...

They are just milking that Batman Hush body mould. The recently announced Thor and Steel use it, and look way too skinny compared to the artwork they are meant to represent. Even the 2 Batman Hush figures are themselves too slim compared to Jim Lee's drawings. Speaking of big guy figures, we need a 90's Fox cartoon/Capcom Apocalypse in their X-Men line, with multiple arm attachments.

Mafex 004 and 113 are the only one i have purchaseed ..since then i never buy anythung from then again The homecoming i bought neca 1/4 scale instead Iron spider SHF eclipse it by a large margin... Nice reference to american pie though :v

@@DCSG81 I prefer the Comicave version. A lot cheaper, better quality, amazing paint, die-cast parts, great light up features and motorized chest opening feature with a Mark 43 inside. It is even better than my Threezero Hulkbuster, which only has better articulation, but plain paint and plastic parts that pop off.
