Og Kayle reminded me of Samus from Metroid. Wearing a neutral armor without knowing who's wearing it. Shame they took it out completely

It disappears cause she will unmasked when she hits lvl 11 i think.

I honestly miss the old base Kayle look. When I saw her redesigned look for the first time I straight up just quit league cuz she Is my absoulte favorite. I'm getting back into League again, and I have come to accept her new look, but I will always favor the old one.

I can relate as an Akali main. I basically quit for years when they completely ruined her appearance, style, and personality. It is only because I enjoy her rework did I eventually come around to accepting the new her.

And Aether was the best one before :(

Base: Definitely an improvement, two years ago I would have believed that was an Ultimate skin, with evolving model and amazing effects. An incredible rework overall. Silver: Model and wings look really nice, I like the whiteness of her wings. For being a "cheap" exclusive skin looks very decent, shame you can't purchase it. Viridian: Looks like a fairy now xD, which is better than looking like a chroma, which she also has for this skin. Good rework for a cheap skin. Transcended: Reworked to given an identity as a "alternative version" of her base skin, which already was as Unmasked. I don't dislike it, but still feels a little weak for a 975rp tier. Still better than it was tho. Battleborn: Has this arcanic/ Vallhalla look to her, it feels really nice. Improved the old concept and is very worth the tier she is in. Judgement: I really dig the statue vives on her, looks more like a gargoyle than Galio. I love the tone on the wings and it's sad she doesn't have extra effects. But is not as sad as knowing this skin is limited u.u Aether wing: At base level she looks the same. New animations, recall and effects are really nice, worth the tier, however I would have like a better effect on her blade to match the yellow on her wings on charged passive. I can't say I like the wings at higher levels, they look like some incomprehensible techno mess, which makes me hope they can give her some more consistency as wings instead of floating monitors. Unless they do something, I personally wouldn't call this skin worth it. Riot: Base model looks really nice, I dig the helix wings. I heard on Twitter she still has some missing VFX so I will hold my breath for now, but I'll say I still hope for some more effects, specially the ult. The four wings model look like a mess tbh, too saturated. I wish they could make them more spacious and with brighter colours for the passive. Iron Inquisitor: Veeeeeeery good cheap skin, oh my God. The wings look phenomenal and the model is THICC (as the design, but also as her model 😏). Very nice rework of a skin I already liked. Pentakill: incredible. The wings at full model look amazing and the VFX looks really nice. The screams for the ult are thrilling. My biggest dislike is the splash art, I think the previous one was less sofocating. Overall, very good rework, for both the gameplay and the visuals. Warwick level rework I would dare to say. Great job Riot and thanks for the video SQUIPO.

Nice toughts, may I add my own too? I've never liked the B-I-G swords for her, doesn't fit even with the B-I-G armor (have had battleborn for a long time, like to use it, like the armor, don't like the sword... Can't see it fit) That being said: Base: 100% agree Viridian: Like it a lot, just can't see it fit the artwork... In the art she looks more like an elf, and is missing some details and colors in game to look more like it... Still, probab my fav of them Transcended: Had won it in a chest, probably will active... I agree it's weak for the tier, but still, being from the chest, I'll prob. give it a go, looks nice, will be swappin between Viridian and Transcended Battleborn: Being my favorite for a long time, I don't think I'll be using this anymore... I mean... I just can't fit that GIANT big-ass moth.$@ CLEAVER on the skin... It's too crude, too, boxy (?), squared, can't see that as something "heavenly", you know? Should be gentle an gracious, and angry at the same time, but never crude and raw like that... I don't know, may be talking sh1t, but I didn't like it Aether Wing: Have won it in a chest too (Yeah, both from the same chest I might add) I don't thing I'll be activating this... Before the rework, I'd active... My GF won that too in a box in the past, before the crafting thing (literally won it in a random skin token) and damn... That was beatifull to use, but the new... Meh... I feel like it could be so, SOO much more, y'know? Maybe, for starters, the aether should be something to be contained while in low levels, and just be a free substance when ascended, like... Loose the metal at all? Just some, glowing, free-flowing, "ice-lava-like" thing that just HAPPENS to take wing-shape? IDK, I THINK, it'd look better Riot: 100% Agree too Iron: Again, 100% agree... It looks... "T-H-I-C-C" 😏 Pentakill: Agree, like more the new look, less "trash-bang-crazy-ass" and more "crazy-ass-rock-and-roll" I guess... I'm not good expressing myself with words, guess you've guessed that up to now XD - but, what I like here, more than everything, is the VFX... DAMN, that skin SOUNDS perfect... Just, perfect... One thing I can't like in ANY other of the skins, is the VFX for the ulti... Sounds like it's not playing to the end of the sound, y'know? Like the last patch is missing? But in penta, it goddam looks fuck!@$% finished Sorry, didn't mean to write that much XD

@@Oda_Samurai I agree in base level Battleborn looks odd, but at higher level the blade lights on and gets split, and looks really nice. The fire effects look cool too on the skin. Is a matter of tastes in the end. Viridian looks cool and has very nice chromas, I think is worth it if you buy them on the Blue Essence Emporium for 2000BE. For Aether Wing, they fix her on the PBE, adding some blue effects to her wings that make her look much better. I think is much worth the legendary tier now, although I can't tell if the autoattack animations were the same as before. I have the shard too, may end up activating her if I play her.

I hope this video isn't final. With the judgment Kayle I see some moments where clearly the wings aren't even attached to the body. Old judgement Kayle actually looks better imho

The only thing i don't like is the base skin's splash art--they kinda looked like mobile legends characters.; i prefer the brush strokes on the old one, it looks lowkey expressive(lmao what) and incredibly realistic in a way tho it's fictional.

I have it, I only played kayle too. Hate the new skins and I hate the dual sword garbage. The flaming halo and sword was the best part. I quit league years back now.

Well now we can say every kayle skin is a ultimate skin cause she changes with lvl like pulsefire ez

The treatment Judgement Kayle recieved really symbolizes how much of a shit Riot gives about their oldest players. This skin is now impossible to get, quite rare and was only available for season 1 players, and it doesn't even get a fucking basic change of ability colors?

So only aether wing changes particle effects now ? Especially for her ultimate ? And I guess pentakill too.

Is it normal I like pre-rework original Kayle more then reworked?

They un-hookered Caitlyn's starter design and it's mostly good, but they went way too hard in the other direction on Kayle's design. I can understand adding some more definition on the curves or more design nuance to indicate that's she's a woman but they just thotted her up.

Yeah not using Aether wing Kaylee after the rework... Really sad as that was my favorite skin and I loved the aura on the blade with E active but uh... I guess times change or w/e Thanks Riot.

@@lemonscient5083 it was arguably a skin released ahead of it's time, and it had the smoothest animations available for the champion just because it wasn't as flashy as other champion skins doesn't mean it wasn't great, and that it didn't make the gameplay feel much smoother =/

@@lemonscient5083 the problem is they took the identity of the skin and made it something it's not, aether wing was always small sleek and smooth, and after she transforms she gets these awkward and bulky "engines" in place of the wings which is a huge part of aethers aesthetic

Not to mention the loss of the "empowered" state on all the skins where the blade glows, or in the case of Riot the sirens when her e was active =/ =/

As much as I love Viridian, it's practically a chroma by modern standards. I like this new one, but I kinda wish the effects were a different color or something :(
