@@boi7316 if you mean his name, it’s a reference to the band White snake, and with some form of irony that the song that he was based off of was one of heaven but white snakes design reflects evolution which the church doesn’t like. Ok I miss understood but the song that plays is the song “Is this love” by the band white snake When C-Moon appears in the video the song that plays is “C moon” by Wings

I was about to suggest the same before reading your comment. I think Araki modelled Diavolo’s double personality drawing inspiration from the song, as the stands’ names are often chosen to rapresent their powers and/or the owner’s prominent traits

6:03 "menacing music" I can't

While it kinda goes against the premise of the video, I've always felt that the song for Made in Heaven would actually be more fitting much later on in the series, when Pucci takes out most of the main cast and the universe resets. Basically, JoJo's version of "Komm, Susser Tod", though a bit more menacing given the drums, guitar riffs, and the connection to the main villain.

I disagree on "epitath" on Diavolo. "In The court of the Crimson King" fits the scene better in my opinion.

The reason epitaph was chosen is probably because that's the name of the ability/sub-stand thing that allows Diavolo to see 10 seconds into the future. So, the song is able to represent both the stand name and the other abilities name.

i don't necessarily think that in a perfect universe stand reveals should be accompanied by matching music, except for maybe diavolo with 21st century schizoid man, but i wish the musicians who design the music and themes for jojo would use the music the themes are based on as a sort of inspiration and see if it could work somehow. idk much about the process but if it were possible that would be awesome

you shold have done Dio with The World and while i know its not the stands namesake but i think that holy Diver would have worked very well, considering the Artist (ronny james dio) is Dio's namesake, and The Worlds design is based on the album art for holy diver

Because not only did it not fit the overall theme of the characters, its basically a hazard to put any of this in any of the situations shown given that the villains were in desperate situations. Putting shitty jazz and calling it a respective "theme" is just crazy.
