    As a non jew, I must say that I have the highest respect for the jewish people! My life would not at all be the same without them and their history. The only shadow in my relation to the jews, comes from my side, that is, I am a Christian, and we have often treated them wrongly and harshly. I am so ashamed of this for two reasons. Firstly, no one should treat others in a way they themselves would not like to be treated. Secoundly, the most beautiful and presious fountain in my life, is jewish to its core, namely my faith! So thank you so so much for what you have brought me! I will forever stand to defend you!

    You're a proxy jew in a sense, grafted onto the abrahamic tree. Go beg your rabbi yeshua for forgiveness and turn the other cheek. Your own prechristian history is only to be forgotten, your people do not exist, you have no tribe. Your only purpose in this life is to serve the jews.

    They forsake and rebuke your Savior, as well as view you as a beastly idolater. You now idolize them by claiming your life wouldn't be the same without their history is blasphemy. As it inherently means you think God didn't have the power to deliver Jesus into the world without the Jews. You're a Christian in name, but a Pharisee in practice. Corrupting the faith that is demanded by Jesus, as well as idolizing his killers AND those that rebuke his divinity. Be gone false image of a Christian.

    Excellent and richly informative! Thanks Prof. Myers, watching it over and over, learning and learning. Regarding 18th-century rationalism, let us not forget that Baruch Spinoza anticipated it by 150 yrs. Regarding the race-based modern-era antisemitism consider the Inquisition anticipated it by 400 yrs. A question: apart from race, could there be a "behavioral" or professional component to historical antisemitism? Consider Jews are quite adept and historically over-represented at certain professions (Medicine, Public Admin, Finance, Law). Recognizing the envy and resentment of the masses, the nobility has periodically exploited this pent-up hatred to launch media campaigns to ignite the population who seeks the pardoning of their loans, reduced job competition, and stolen land. Meanwhile, nobility takes advantage of the rabble they created to replenish their coffers with confiscated Jewish assets. This is the story of European anti-semitism. To say it is based on race alone strikes one as an oversimplification. This is not unlike "cancel culture" in the XXI century: the card of discrimination is being used to oust otherwise competent workers because they belong to some "undesirable" caste (white, male, heterosexual -- the new jews). The "elites" watch from the sidelines, searching for ways to profit from this "revolution" (e.g., unlimited immigration), while propaganda is dumped on folks on the street to enact the "revolution", and brutalize the undesirables, make lists, etc.

    How Moses could be born Jewish if he brought the Torah after he was born, obviously. OF course Moses was an Egyptian, he was raised by Pharaoh, the Torah mentioned that he looked and behaved like an Egyptian - and not only that - *he himself considered himself* non Israeli but an Egyptian, that is why he named his Israeli-born child "Ger-Shom" which means "he is a foreigner to Israel". Moses is also using Egyptian magia, in the slaved Israelite story they confuse him with an Egyptian etc etc. Regardless, even King David was not "Jewish", Jewish means an Israeli that immigrated to Persia from the Judiah mountains, this term didn't exist before the build of the second temple which is why it is no mentioned in the bible (except in the book of Esther which was written exactly then). Please teach yourself the bible before your try to teach others.

    What an attempt to re-write history! Israelite in the Bible refers to the children of David, a family, not a people. The Hebrews were not Europeans, so when did they become Jews? The Current Israelite's In Israel, began to amass there after the second world war in Europe after being refused refugee status by the British, The people of Judah were not Jews, they were Judahan's. Come on you know this, the Torah have a very derogatory view of Jesus who was born in Judeah, which lead to the crucifixion and you know the rest. My knowledge of Jews suggest they are not Semites, but Khazars and Askhenaiz who adapted the Torah, not the Bible, have I missed something? Happy to be corrected.

  • @happytuesday2680

    @happytuesday2680

    LOL, The Torah has no view of Jesus. The Torah is the five books of Moses. It was written centuries before Jesus’ birth, so there are no mentions of him in it. Jesus taught the Torah. When people say "Bible", they mean the Old Testament (the Torah or Hebrew Bible) plus the New Testament. So saying that someone "adapted the Torah, not the Bible" is senseless. How more confused can you be? You could say "adapted the Torah, not the New Testament". Khazars were Turkic people who in the late 6th century established an empire on the territory of modern southeast Russia, southern Ukraine and Crimea. Khazar kingdom entirely collapsed by the 11th century. Khazarian nobility, indeed, converted to Judaism, so they can be called Khazarian Jews. However, after their kingdom was destroyed, Khazars assimilated into the local population. By the end of he 13th century, there was already no trace of them as separate people. As far as their relationship to Ashkenazi Jews, 9 skeletons dating to the 7th-9th centuries were excavated from the Khazar burial sites and analyzed in two genetic studies in 2019 and 2021. Results confirmed the Turkic roots of Khazars and showed no genetic connection between them and Ashkenazi Jews. The closest relatives to Khazars are probably Crimean Tatars and other Turkic people in this general region. Numerous genetic studies consistently showed that Ashkenazi Jews are of the Middle Eastern (Levantine) genetic origin, mixed with some Southern European, primarily Italian. This makes total historic sense given that Judea was a part of the Roman Empire. Genetic composition of all three major groups of Jews - Ashkenazi, Sephardi, and Mizrahi - show significant amounts of their shared Middle Eastern ancestry. There is also fairly substantial genetic overlap between Palestinian Arabs and Jews (both, Ashkenazi and Sephardic).

    The Romans named the land Palestine, but the Palestinians are indeed native - as are the Jews. We come from the same roots, but time and separation have made us differ (surprisingly little given the duration of our separation). We are brothers and sisters. The religious “given by God” argument does not apply in a modern society, and is impossible to improve to those who don’t share the same religious beliefs.

Meanwhile.. the People of the book (all monotheistic faiths are clearly reminded) 3:65 O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason? Chapter Al Imraan. But intellectual arrogance is the biggest obstacle Jews are unable to overcome. Sadly

    The Khazar theory has been debunked by history, archeology, linguistics, and science (DNA). The modern Jews still have 50% of Canaanite DNA. The Israelites were a Canaanite tribe that stopped child sacrifice and believed in the one true God. The person described as black and comely was the Sulamite slave girl, not Solomon. Solomon is described as *"white and ruddy", "washed with milk", and "skin like polished ivory, Overlaid with sapphires"* which means so translucent that you saw the blue veins through it. How is this a black man?
