It's not ironic that I became interested in tekken ONLY because of Dragunov and only because Dragunov is a Russian military man

He was an absolute UNIT! Im praying they enhance his story. Such potential in a character is incredibly rare tbf-

he's so adorable and handsome and fun to play it saddens me that they wasted his potential and left him behind (at least not worse than bayman lol he never found donovan) hopefully they fix dragu in 8 and his ending seems adorable from the screenshot

Ahh.. Dragunov, a character with very cool design and satisfying playstyle. He's the reason why I played Tekken since 5 DR, his gameplay is really fun af. Sad to hear that some of the famous tekken pro players who mains him won't want to bring him into tournaments again tho (JDCR for example).

hello fellow dragunov main 😩 i have been into the character quite late, in 2014 but became one of his biggest fans, he wasnt given more exposure and the writers always waste his potential but i still always loved he, to me he was still a badass with a neat visual design and fighting style, love to play as him too :) also yea, i heard the devs kinda messed up with his moveset, no mids hchsdsdhkhd

@@b0ltun0 I've also read all the things that you wrote in the doc and I'd pretty much agreed with everything there. He has potential, but Harada and his team keeps bringing up disappointment to the table when it comes to creating interesting stories to these awesome characters (including him). And I still questioning myself as to how did they fcked up the endings in 7 (Master Raven's ending is basically shoving a middle finger to the face, ouch). Tekken 7 still doesn't have an anti-cheat system, customization is crap, storyline endings are crap (its more episodic than an actual ending lmao), less singleplayer content (who tf plays tekken bowl), dlc characters remained op and their ridiculous hitboxes (except Armor King) while Dragunov's getting hit with silent nerfs. If the next Tekken game fails to deliver, again.. idk anymore. But yeah, wr2 and d2 no mids for life :)))

@@xtremearts8668 SGFGLKGF IM GLAD YOU AGREE, im both scared and curious how people feel because i ended up ranting like crazy, and go kinda against the norm, but i care this much imagine creating a character, but like do the bare minimum and get shocked why people give u critique,,,, are they blind? and this whole "yea we wanted to do more, but the community isnt interested :(" well, then write better stories LMAO, but you choose not to, theyre all grown ass men, I THINK OH MAVEN SFKHGLSSGF, what purpose did she serve? yep she exists, i mean its just tekken 6 again, sergei got interrupted and thats the plot, thats what namco calls a day, now im sick and tired and will always say my raw ass opinions LMAO, i could write a better story, i dont even consider certain things to be canon because it has no use or purpose, so yea, ravens dont exist in my book, even when first raven had a bit of stuff going on I HEARD OF ALL THIS BRUH, this is why i dont even have that game, i have any other tekken, but this one i cant stand, now i just watch videos or hear other peoples opinions/experiences and im like "yeah im not missing out" the cheat system and hitboxes would make me just throw my controller outta my window, im not even a good player and still need practice i dont think it will be good, T8 will be just another joke, but ah well i can at least update this dumb video again bc more footage

@@b0ltun0 Don't worry, almost every single Dragunov player thinks that his and Maven's ending is hot garbage. Although what you said in the doc about his ending in 5 DR is non-canon and that's it, it still gives people the impression that he's not someone to take on lightly as he is feared across the globe as Russia's most valued and powerful military soldier that earned him the alias _'the Angel of Death'_ in the story. Anyone can write a better, detailed plot for him tbh. And the overall rivalry between him and og Raven is just _boring_ in comparison to what other Tekken characters have in general (Nina vs Anna for example). I would rather see him having a rivalry with Bryan since imo have a higher chance of interesting character interaction results, because the two of them fitted the dynamic of _the two sides of the same coin_ (both have military expertise, but one is a literal psychopath who takes pleasure of creating havoc and the other did things that he thinks is necessary to serve his nation without question). Seriously, I'd pay to see them fighting against each other as all-time enemies and couldn't help myself but to imagine their first interaction is just Bryan taking his first fight with him too lightly until he got pissed off and had given into the intention to *kill* Dragunov for being, _in his perspective,_ annoyingly straightforward (silent russian man doesn't want to deal with anyone's sht that blocks his way to his mission lmao). Nowadays, I continued to brainstorm a lot of ideas to write him without actually ruining his mysterious vibe going on (his very reserved and quiet personality opens up many possibilities in terms of writing his character). Naturally, Namco wouldn't give a flying fck about Tekken characters that aren't Mishima-related so why not let the fans _do the work_ for them? Uhh, I was planning to get Tekken 7 anyways despite all the problems due to seeing that its the only Tekken game available in PC where I can pick Dragunov's drippy alternative outfit (military coat and beret are lit af), he looks so good in it during gameplay as well. Yet I can understand the reason of other players that would hesitate to join in due to its continued, unsolved glaring issues throughout the years; so its always a guaranteed, the best option to avoid playing it to give yourself mercy from the grueling and mind-wrecking -experience- *torture.* So yeah, to wrap things up.. your video is awesome. **gesturing Dragunov's famous hand signal to ya**
