Who else kinda misses the glossy/realistic design of programs and such? The simple and flat designs on our phones and computers look nice, but I wish there was still some glossiness or a gradient effect so programs just aren't one color.

Samsung TouchWiz Ui, MacOS Mountain lion, Windows 7, vista, xp, iOS 4 had cool effects and realistic effects Sasmung one ui, windows 11, macos big sur, ios 7 and so on, looks nice but they are too simple!

@@JustJaidenism No bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Windows 7 has more better gloss not only blur but reflection, multiple gradient, realistic, 3d icons, glow etc. While windows 11 has simple 2 color gradient in icon, not reflection effect, no realism, , no 3d. Just flat acrylic and flat 2 gradient icons.

Media Center windows

Man I had a lot of memories with these when I was younger.

As a kid, my favourite feature of Windows Media Center was the full-screen versions of the built-in games, like Mahjong Titans and Purble Place.

@@Meowmeown1664 On Windows 7, the games were bundled in. I know you can install Media Center and the games separately on newer versions, but I don't know if you can add the games to Media Center itself.

Just to let you know again, This video actually has the MCE 2005 animation, but I trimmed it, because the video results to a bad picture. It's worse than the result of the December 2005 builds. But at least you know that it's similar to the previous versions of XP MCE

Alright, let's get this straight, I still can't solve how to get the picture works perfectly, If you know how to get the better picture for the MCE 2005 in VM (not in standalone computer), why don't you tell me how to do it, I've just done the display settings registry to disable the directx, it can play the animation, but it blinks and super laggy than the December 2005 build There might be possibility to update the video, I've also just requested some beta builds of MCE 2002, 2004, and 2005 to 2 archiveorg users, but no responses yet from them

@rabia bahsri you can download it althought most of them uses Win8.1 version, also find the download link that is right for your architecture... is it x86 or x64... good luck

Windows Media Center wasn't included with a fresh copy of Windows 8 and 8.1, however it could be added as a paid add-on for Windows 8 / 8.1 users.

The thing I fascinated about this video was the startup was run smoothly. How did you do that? Did you installing the graphics driver on the VM? Because I had the case when Windows Media Center startup won't appear but it went to the menu right after I opened it

the mce 2002 and 2004 can be found at archiveorg. but for the rest can be found at downloadui.bobpony.com but you have to use vmware and install the svga 3d driver via device manager

back in 2016 when I had my PC with windows media player but now on the future my PC is now win 7 home EDITON and no longer has windows media center

This aged well.

Whenever I see a windows Vista or 7 computer I usually open the PC, look for Media Center, then I Play around with it if it was a Console.

I actually have difficulties on installing sound driver on build 5231 (which is actually compiled September 2005 as said), so i put it in the video editing software, you can also see another review of build 5231 by one of the japanese uploader and it's the same as well...
