ABSOLUTELY! I grew up with this show- I was 7 when it came on- strict Polish Catholic uprbinging and my whole family is like Archie! ME TOO! ARCHIE IS RIGHT! ANYTIME Archie would say something- my father would say, "Remember that!:" LOL!!!! GREAT TIMES!

Same here! I started watching this show in reruns around age 20, and I mostly agreed with Meathead and laughed at Archie. By 20 years later it was the opposite.

The person who played him would tell you he thinks you should wake up and humble yourself and make an impact on others lives. He would also say he was playing a part of someone that was ignorant and unable to sympathize with others lives. He wanted you to relate enough to see your mentality was wrong.
Robin was ridiculous. They could've slept apart for one night for heaven's sake!

So many of those don’t-trust-anybody-over-30 hippies had a sense of entitlement no matter where they were. Too free to live by the rules and don’t earn a living, but think they can bend the rules under the roof of someone working for a living.
