I’m happy your keeping a watchful eye on John. I had a childhood friend I lost to drugs. She’s still alive but deep into that lifestyle she sees no wrong. I really miss her she did clean up for a few year and I would travel two days on the train to see her each year. It was like having my friend back. But than she was gone again. I just hope one day I watch your channel and see John dreams come to light of him in his fixed up home in little hidden oasis in the middle of town.

One thing I really enjoy about your videos..... Reminds me so much of home in Maine.... And all of your stories I can totally relate too.

This is on par with the best content on the platform. The right amount of nostalgia, wisdom and good times. Well done.

That jacket is awesome and I really love old blue. I have a 1992 jeep wrangler that I call RARE BREED.

Seeing this all come together is an experience on it's own. It's like your trying to cross a creek and with each step, on a new stone, is a new challenge. Some are slippery and some wobble, but your always looking for the next step to get you closer to the end goal, crossing the creek. But wait! I'm a new follower... the vids are great and I wish you luck in all you do. The old blue Ford is as sexy to me as any vehicle I've ever seen. I drive a classic Jeep everyday...and one day, if I run onto a old stepside like you have... it will be mine. I learned to drive with a 3 on the tree and have owned many since. The patience it forces you to have...the slower pace...the beauty of the movement between the gears... I love all of it.

Such a great video as always. Today I decided to let all your videos play on my tv while I studied and took a practice test because I knew it would be relaxing. Got a little distracted by the one where you talked about life being crazy sometimes and you few like your in a slump with everything going wrong. Made me tear up when you said that’s the best place to be because the only place to go is up. It’s crazy your messages are so simple and so on point and meaningful. Man, all the things i wanna say, and no words put them into life. I sat down this morning to get some work done and had a queue of videos just to play in the background. I made it all of 30 seconds into the video and I found that i'd completely stopped what i was doing and was fully immersed. I don't remember when you said it, it was a long while ago, but you said that you wanted Trout to be a getaway, a place where stories and inspiration come to life, and my my, this one fit every word. It's been a rough season, as i'm sure many others have experienced. This story for a moment made everything else feel like it didn't matter. As a photographer and a novice creator, thank you for the inspiration. It carries me through the days that are more full than i can comprehend. I remember when i first found the channel. I think you'd only posted a video or two, and i've eagerly seen each one since. Well done, my man. Well done.

Kyle, I am not the kind of guy to get emotional but the kind words you said about your friend John felt so deep - brothers for ever! Keep up the good work.
