I think of my son who passed away in November..... we were so close....beautiful song and what a voice. Tears in my eyes....I know it's a song for couples but it can mean a lot for all those we lost over the years. I'm 70 and there are more empty chairs at the table. I was lucky to have fantastic family and friends. Hopefully someday we'll all be together again. That's all I want someday.

I also agree, I know the song is made for couples but my older brother took his life in 2017 at only 19 years old and I would give ANYTHING to hear him knocking at my door. We were so close.... thanks again... he would have been 45 on January 24th. It was a hard Thanksgiving and Christmas to see his chair empty....a part of us will never be the same....I truly hope we'll be together again. We always hugged when we see each other and say goodbye... it's an Italian thing. Give you soon a hug.... thanks again.

2 years ago when my grandma passed away who i love so dearly as she was the one who raised us, and I was not there on her side when she called for me while she was in the hospital. never had a chance to see her coz of the lockdown and that was also the time that my daughter was a few months old and until now, i'm still sorry for not being there by her side and how sorry I am for not giving everything back in return. The line in the chorus of this song "i'll find somebody..like you" hits me hard as my daughter resembles her in her younger years now that my daughter is 3 years old. That i can say that i already found that somebody. what also surprises me was that when I was talking to my mom about it that my daughter surely resembles my grandma, a notification on my phone pops up about a memory a few years back with a picture of my grandma. everything definitely happens for a reason.

My best friend just passed away last week 😭 this song is reminded me about him.💔💔💔😢

I lost my dad last month. He was healthy and doing fine, we were laughing and talking and joking but he has a sudden cardiac arrest. Massive one. And I couldn't do anything to save him. He died with his head on my lap. I am only 20 years old. I feel so vulnerable and broken. I just wanna meet my daddy. 😭 This song always reminds me of him.

Thank you for the cover, so beautifully stunning yet full of sadness. This song constantly reminds me of my late father, he gave me his last goodbye 1 hour before he died. He was the best father, such a caring, loving, and amazing soul. He said to take care, respect, and support my mother. He never makes me and mother cry or sad, rather he always put a smile and happiness into our life. And I miss him. 😭
