Ashfur was a cat blinded by hate, jealousy, and his obsession. He and Squirrelflight were hardly called a couple, and it wasn't even like a few days after they split the fire scene happened. It was well over a year since the break up and he held onto that jealousy, letting it deep into his heart. Even in StarClan, that hate continued to grow until it was the only thing he could feel. It clouded his emotion and drowned out reason, and every cat around him could feel it.

Ashfur need to get a life, but instead he spend it obsessive over Squirrelflight. In my opinion they should reform him or reincarnated him.

@@willow4289 he spent his death obsessing over Squirrelflight as well. I don't think there was a redemption in store for Ashfur ever if after 8 years, majority of that time being dead, he still can't let go.

Because of a simple rejection he murdered a leader (not to mention the father of his crush) and attempted to kill her three adopted kits. Ashfur has done absolutely nothing to deserve it and even better yet deserves to be sent to the dark forest.

Ashfur had cornered Squirrelflight and her “Kits” in the fire and threatened to let them burn in the fire for revenge about her not loving him back. She then had confessed they were not her kits, and that it wouldn’t hurt her as much as he thought it would due to that fact. One of the kits, Hollyleaf, was enraged that her and her brothers’ life was a lie, and she killed him so he wouldn’t tell anybody the secret that they weren't Squirrelflight’s kits. Hope that clears it up for you! :)
